govilon

govilon afc dates back over 100 years.

they won the gwent central league twice in a row in 2001 and 2002 - but lasted only 2 seasons in the gwent county league.

in 2007 they won the league again and returned to the county league.

they reached div 1 before they became abergavenny town in 2014.

football in govilon isnt gone though - we still play at the playing fields in the village.
