With its 93 years of existence, the professional newspaper "Le Bois International" organizes the third edition of the "Forest Machine of the Year" Awards. This competition aims to distinguish the most innovative machines and equipment among the new products proposed on the forest market. The awards ceremony is expected to take place at the EUROFOREST trade fair scheduled from 22 to 24 June.
« Le Bois International », journal des professionnels de la filière forêt-bois, organise la troisième édition des Trophées de la « Machine forestière de l’année ». Ce concours vise à distinguer les machines et matériels les plus novateurs proposés sur le marché de l’exploitation forestière. La remise des prix devrait se dérouler à l’occasion du salon professionnel Euroforest programmé du 22 au 24 juin prochain.

“Forest machines eligible for the title must have been placed on the European market during the last 12 months before the award ceremony, ie between June 1st, 2022 and May 31st, 2023 " said Dominique Seytre, journalist at the editorial board of Bois International at the initiative of the launch of the "Forest Machine of the Year" Awards. "These machines must be marketed in series and can’t be simple prototypes. The award list will not necessarily distinguish European branded equipment but the candidate machines must be available for sale on the European market. “
Les machines forestières pouvant concourir doivent avoir été mises sur le marché européen au cours des 12 derniers mois avant la remise des prix, c’est-à-dire entre le 1er juin 2022 et le 31 mai 2023. « Ces machines doivent être commercialisées en série et ne peuvent être de simples prototypes », précise Dominique Seytre, journaliste à la rédaction du Bois International à l’initiative des Trophées de la « Machine forestière de l’année ». Le palmarès ne distinguera pas obligatoirement un matériel de marque européenne mais les machines candidates devront être disponibles à la vente sur le marché européen.
Professional Jury
A jury made up of professionals studies about twenty products presented by manufacturers and importers. Their selection criteria are at the heart of the technique, the behavior on the forest site, the safety, the performance, the environmental impact, the ergonomics concepts... From the fourth edition, the "Forest Machinery of the Year” Awards position themselves at the international level by choosing the EUROFOREST show, in France, at the crossroads of several forest countries in Europe for the award ceremony.
Un jury composé de professionnels étudiera les divers dossiers présentés par les constructeurs et importateurs en lice. Leurs critères de sélection portent sur l’innovation technique, le comportement sur chantier forestier, la sécurité, la performance, l’impact environnemental, l’ergonomie… Avec cette quatrième édition, les Trophées de la « Machine forestière de l’année » se positionnent à l’échelon international en choisissant, pour cadre de la remise des prix, le salon Euroforest qui aura lieu en France, au carrefour de plusieurs pays forestiers d’Europe.
