Grip the camera firmly with your right hand, positioning your index finger on the shutter button, your thumb beneath the film advance lever, and your remaining fingers supporting the front of the camera body.
Rest the camera's base in your left palm.
Your body position is just as crucial as your camera grip when taking photos. Maintain proper posture for optimal stability and results.
TAKE NOTE:
1. Do not forget to wear the strap of your camera. Wear it around your neck or shoulder. This acts as a safety net to prevent the camera from falling.
2. Use your two hands when holding a camera, especially if it's heavier. Use your right hand to grip the camera body, usually around the handgrip. Your left hand should support the camera lens from underneath.
3. Stand naturally. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart for a stable base. Tuck your elbows in close to your body. This helps to minimize movement and keep the camera steady.
3. Before taking the shot, take a slow, deep breath. Exhale slowly as you press the shutter button. This will help you avoid shaking the camera.
