Ford Westfalia

Camper Van $14,450

  • 1998 Ford E-150, 4.2 Liter V-6, VERY reliable, shares many parts with F-150 pickups, relatively fuel efficient (14-17 mpg)
  • Methodically maintained for utmost reliability, have never had a breakdown in this vehicle
  • 158,162 miles
  • Class III receiver hitch with tow wiring
  • Includes summer and winter wheels and tires. Winter Wheel/tire set installed now include Good Year UltraGrip studded snow tires with only about 5,000 miles on them, these offer excellent traction on snow and ice, combined with the weight on the rear wheels and good ground clearance I have never encountered open road conditions in Colorado that this van could not handle. Also includes premium and easy to use Diamond Tire chains for extreme conditions (only used a few times on steep snow covered dirt roads). Summer wheels/tire include extra load range all terrain tires.
  • Pioneer head set with remote, rear speakers, aux line in, mp3, etc.
  • Rear door ladder for roof access with Thule roof rack bars for bikes/kayaks/etc.
  • Fiberglass hightop with factory bright white easy to clean interior, offers over 6' stand up height. Top includes two windows at eye level when standing which is very nice.
  • Sleeps 4, with "downstairs" and "upstairs" beds. Upstairs bed is large but only has about 18" of headroom, perfect for kids or guests.
  • Insulated interior with a safe exhaust vented 12,000 BTU forced air propane furnace (Atwood Everest Star), controlled by a low temperature home thermostat. Maintains comfortable temps in sub-zero Fahrenheit temperatures. Also includes custom insulated window covers for all windows.
  • Propane system with undermount tank with gauge and dual stage regulator holds about enough propane for 3 weeks of winter camping. CO/Smoke detector and fire extinguisher installed in cabin for piece of mind.
  • Dual battery/electrical system with new 100 amp hour deep cycle camper battery, solar trickle charging, built in 110v trickle charger.
  • Low wattage solar system on roof for trickle charging of camping battery.
  • All LED interior lighting, very nice lighting with multiple options
  • Swivel passenger seat
  • Screened tinted camper windows,
  • fantastic fan roof top vent with 2 way fan 3 speed
  • Water system designed for reliability in freezing temperatures, versatility for off-grid camping, and efficiency. Features removable water jugs, adjustable flow faucet nozzle and foot operated pump.
  • Kitchen includes 2 burner stove with cover, built in dish drying rack, silverware drawer and cabinet space for kitchen accouterments. Swing out table for eating or office work. Paper towel dispenser.
  • Linen & bedding storage, closet space for clothes/jackets/mirror. Interior hooks for drying gear.
  • New coin grip rubber flooring in cabin area.
  • I am this van's second owner. First owner was a dry cleaning company in Denver, CO. Dry cleaners apparently are bad drivers and the van came to me with three dents on drivers door, hood/grill, and on sliding door. The dents are almost entirely cosmetic. Van has not been in any real accidents. I will provide a VIN history report (carfax or similar) to serious buyers. Buyer may also bring the van to a local shop for a mechanical inspection.
