The weakest links in the RIAA network are capacitor tolerances. In order to attain better RIAA accuracy, more precisely manufactured capacitors have to be used, but can get expensive quite quickly. The SPARTAN 5 takes a different approach to reduce colouration, and instead utilises classic 'greencap' 100V film capacitors, distortion free up to 10V RMS and found in some of the most revered vintage equipment. These are then hand-chosen to a much stricter tolerance than the conventional 5%, to perform the task of faithfully inverting the RIAA curve on playback. This doubles the accuracy compared to other offerings from 0.5db to 0.25dB, resulting half the colouration of the sound and a much truer listening experience.

Many small phonostages today use an external switching power supply that can inject nasty audio frequency currents straight from the mains into the audio ground path between the phonostage and power amplifier, resulting in unpleasant buzzes, hums, and whines. In most cases this adds a most unwelcome accompaniment to the music. Switchers also have a very undesirable habit of allowing the ground to 'float' at 80V RMS or so, more than enough to damage sensitive line inputs when hot swapping equipment.

Hello, I am not sure if I should post it here or somewhere else, but I was wondering if Media Player Classic has an Audio Compressor like VLC. On windows if you press CTRL+E in VLC then you can get an audio effects window. Also the compressor is in the VLC options. Does Media Player Classic have something similar? I am asking because I have been using Media Player Classic and only found out recently that VLC had this option.

I had this happen. when i logged out, i could change the audio at the character selection screen. When i logged back into my toon , the audio was missing. As in the actual audio option. I only had Graphics, Languages and Network under system. i had to restart the game to regain the ability to change audio in the game. I have not been able to reproduce the error.

Back in February of 2020 we had our last audio show before the pandemic shut downs starting making their way around the globe. For many, their last audio show was Capital Audio Fest 2019, having its biggest weekend ever. But for us, it was Tampa in winter of 2020, where Jameson Mourafetis, Marc Boyle, Dave McNair, and myself found refuge from the Florida Sun in a Classic Audio Loudspeakers exhibit, and little did we know it would be our last exhibit room together for still a long time to come.

The advanced wireless audio module from Shenzhen Feasycom uses Nordic Semiconductor's nRF5340 multiprotocol SoC for dual-mode Bluetooth Classic audio and LE Audio product designs. Described as the world's first Bluetooth module that can simultaneously support LE Audio and Bluetooth Classic audio, the 'FSC-BT631D' module measures only 12 by 15 by 2.2 mm. In addition to a high-end nRF5340 SoC, the module integrates a Bluetooth Classic transceiver chipset for enabling legacy Bluetooth audio applications.

Hello everyone!

Ever since I switched to the Mac, I've only really had one regret. I wished to play some of my old favorite audio games on the Mac. Parallels is a bit overcomplicated and resource heavy for my needs, but I've discovered with crossover by code weavers:

one can actually play a lot of audio games on the Mac.

Some caveats:

1. anything that needs sapi5 is out.

Delicate overtones from 12,500 cps to beyond the upper limits of the audible spectrun are reproduced by a pair of ultra-high frequency bi-radial transducer. The frequency dividing network provides and imperceptible distribution of the audio signal between the low, mid and high frequency reproducers. The finest electronic components are used throughout.

Thirty years on, John Wolff and Classic Audio Loudspeakers, are renown not only for supplying high-end audiophile speakers which combine compelling, room-filling sound with exquisite cabinet design, but he has also made his name as an innovator in the world of audio speaker technology.

Now, when you invest in Classic Audio Loudspeaker systems, you can rest assured that the sound you hear when the system is first installed will be as intense and emotionally provocative in years to come.

I can not get any audio to play from my iPod Classic. It seems to be functioning properly internally meaning when I plug it into my computer I can manage my music collection and play directly from my iPod. But when I use headphones, my home audio system, or any iPod docking station I can't get any audio to come out. The iPod thinks it is playing, and the volume control is able to be adjusted up and down. But no sound comes out. This problem started slowly. At first it would work sometimes and sometimes not when plugged into a docking station. And then not at all. And same with the headphone jack. First static, then nothing. Funny thing is that both these problems started at the same time and both gave out entirely at the same time. I'd like to not just junk this iPod but apple is going to charge me $100 just to look at the thing. Any suggestions?

Andrew, I just like to verify that you are talking about a Classic and not a 5th Gen video. A lot of times people refer to the 5th gen as a Classic as well. The 6th and 7th Gen are actually the Classic. Now for the problem with the audio. This particular model has a problem with an IC on the logic board. the solder on the audio IC does develop microcracks and loses contact with the logic board. You can try and see if you get sounds by applying some pressure to the right lower side of the ipod, almost between the click wheel and the bottom corner. If you should get sound by doing so, then you only have very few options. One is a new logic board for about $40 on eBay; the other one is to reflow your old logic board. Or you can try what warnergt did on -iphone-... By now I can verify that this works since I performed a reflow on three of the boards and it solved the problem. The logic board is of course available at ifixit as well. Any of this will be cheaper that the $100 for the diagnostics alone. Hope this helps, good luck.

Hello, I use Sound Forge Pro 10.0, everything was fine until yesterday when my computer performed a windows update, now I get the message "the windows classic wave driver audio device stereo mix Conexant ISST audio is missing or in use by another application", anyone know how to resolve this, thanks in advance for your assistance.

If Stereo Mix isn't listed look in the Windows Device Manager -ways-to-open-device-manager-on-windows-10/ under Audio Devices if your Conexant ISST Audio device is listed there. If not, you probably need to reinstall your audio drivers.

In 2021, Big Finish released The Classic Adventures: The Complete Series One and The Classic Adventures: The Complete Series Two, which collected all stories from the first two audio series.

Bluetooth Classic Audio has been around since the early days of Bluetooth technology. It uses the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) over the Bluetooth Basic Rate/Enhanced Data Rate (BR/EDR) protocol to stream high quality audio between devices. The audio codec is encoded using subband coding (SBC) which provides bitrates up to 345 kbps. Bluetooth Classic Audio is ideal for stereo wireless audio applications like wireless headphones, speakers, car infotainment systems etc. The higher bandwidth enables CD-like quality for music streaming.

In contrast, LE Audio is a more recent audio architecture introduced in Bluetooth 5.2 using the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol. It can provide similar audio quality to Bluetooth Classic at significantly lower power consumption. LE Audio uses the Low Complexity Communication Codec (LC3) which provides similar quality as SBC but at bitrates between 40-256 kbps. The lower bandwidth saves power which makes LE Audio ideal for wireless earbuds and hearables.

A major advantage of LE Audio is the ability to broadcast audio to an unlimited number of listeners simultaneously due to the shared broadcast nature of BLE advertising. This enables audio sharing applications - for example, a museum tour guide headset transmitting to any visitor's headphones within range. Classic Audio is limited to point-to-point stereo streaming and does not have native support for audio broadcasting.

LE Audio also introduces audio sharing via BLE connections allowing two sources to share the audio stream to multiple listeners. For example, two people can share the same audio from their phones with each other. Classic Audio does not have this cooperative streaming capability.

Regarding device compatibility, Bluetooth Classic Audio has been supported in smartphones and audio devices for many years. It can seamlessly work with older Bluetooth audio devices. On the other hand, LE Audio requires Bluetooth 5.2 compatible hardware which is still being gradually adopted in the ecosystem. So there are device compatibility constraints currently.

In summary, Bluetooth Classic Audio is ideal for stereo wireless music streaming to headphones and speakers due to its higher bandwidth and range. LE Audio is optimized for next-generation TWS earbuds and hearing devices that require low power consumption. Its broadcasting and sharing features enable new use cases like audio guides. As Bluetooth 5.2 gets adopted, LE Audio will become the standard audio platform across many types of devices and applications. e24fc04721
