Football AI ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. By using Football AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information to provide and improve our services:
• Display Name / Username: A name you choose, stored locally on your device. • Player Profile: Your selected positions, grade level, improvement areas, and goals. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted externally. • Video & Analysis Data: Videos you record or upload for analysis are processed via our cloud AI service for the purpose of generating coaching feedback. Videos are not retained after analysis. Analysis results (scores, feedback) are stored locally on your device. • Apple Sign-In: If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the information Apple provides (such as a user identifier). We do not receive or store your Apple ID email unless you choose to share it. Authentication data is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. • Subscription Data: Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not have access to your payment information.
How We Use Your Information
• To provide AI-powered technique analysis and personalized coaching feedback. • To track your progress, streaks, and improvement over time (stored locally on your device). • To send optional smart notifications about practice reminders and streaks (with your permission). • To manage your subscription status. • To add optional calendar events for your sessions (with your permission).
Data Storage & Security
• Local Storage: Your data (profile, sessions, analysis results, streaks, display name) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. Sensitive identifiers are stored in the iOS Keychain. • Cloud Processing: Videos are sent to our AI analysis service for the sole purpose of generating coaching feedback. They are processed and not retained after analysis. • We use industry-standard security measures to protect any data transmitted to our servers. • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. • We do not integrate any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
• AI Analysis Provider: Used to process videos and generate coaching feedback. Subject to the provider's privacy policy. • RevenueCat: Subscription management. Subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy. • Apple Sign-In: Authentication service provided by Apple. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
We do not integrate any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Personal Scores
The My Bests section displays your highest analysis scores. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers or shared with other users.
Data Retention & Deletion
• Local data can be deleted at any time by clearing your sessions in Settings or by deleting the App. • Videos sent for analysis are not retained after the analysis completes. • Deleting the App removes all locally stored data from your device.
Children's Privacy
Football AI is designed for athletes of all ages, including those under 13. We collect only the minimal information necessary for the App to function, and the data we do collect is processed transiently for analysis or stored locally on your device. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described in this policy. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information beyond what is described here, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you. • Clear all local data through the App's Settings. • Opt out of notifications at any time through iOS Settings. • Delete your account by signing out and deleting the App.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
