This Privacy Policy explains how the AI Food Packaging Maker application ("App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. DATA WE COLLECT
We strictly minimize the collection of personal data. The only data we collect from you to operate the core features of the App are:
• Text Prompts: The textual descriptions you manually type into the App to describe the packaging, boxes, or labels you wish to generate.
• Photo Library Access (Local Only): If you choose to save a generated image, we request permission to add that specific image to your device's Photo Library. We DO NOT read, scan, modify, or upload your existing photos.
• Anonymous Analytics & Crash Data: We may collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic data to fix bugs and improve performance.
2. HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA
• Directly from You: We collect the text prompts only when you actively type them and press the "Generate" button.
• Device Permissions: Photo saving is initiated only upon your explicit tap on the "Save" button.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
The text prompts you provide are used strictly for one purpose:
• To generate the visual image of the packaging design you requested.
4. THIRD-PARTY AI SERVICES & DATA SHARING (IMPORTANT)
To provide the core AI generation feature, the App must transmit your text prompts to third-party Artificial Intelligence service providers.
Before any data is transmitted, the App displays a consent prompt identifying these third parties. By agreeing to generate an image, you acknowledge that your text prompts will be shared with the following specific third parties:
• OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI"): We send your raw text prompt to OpenAI's API to enhance and translate your description into a professional photography prompt.
• Replicate, Inc. / Black Forest Labs: We send the enhanced text prompt to Replicate's API (utilizing Black Forest Labs' models) to render and generate the actual image.
We DO NOT send any personally identifiable information, device identifiers, or location data to these third-party AI services—only the text prompt you wrote.
5. EQUAL PROTECTION BY THIRD PARTIES
We have verified and confirm that any third-party AI service we share data with (OpenAI and Replicate) provides the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy and in compliance with applicable data protection laws. They are contractually obligated to use your text prompts solely to return the requested generation back to the App and are prohibited from using your prompts for unauthorized secondary purposes.
6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We do not store your generated images or prompts on our own servers. Images are generated ephemerally and downloaded directly to your device. Once the generation process is complete and the image is returned to your device, we do not retain your text prompts.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
