Want to try something new and different from the veg cuisine, Kalayan Veg Platter is on a mission to bring about change into the whole vegetarian dining experience in Thrissur district. Located on Shankara Iyyer Road near Kerala Varma bus stop, this restaurant is on right side when you are travelling from West Fort to Pookunnam. On the way to Guruvayur from Thrissur city, this place will suit people who travel to or from Guruvayur. Varieties of dosa are served during breakfast hours at this restaurant which starts from 8 am to 12 pm, which is followed by Lunch from 12 pm to 3:30, when their special Thali Meals and a la carte dishes are available. From 3:30 pm to 7 pm, they open their special Chaat Counter, where you can enjoy the various North Indian Chaat varieties without any worries about hygiene and cleanliness. 7 pm to 10:45 pm are their dinner hours, which is one of their most rush time when all the dishes in their menu are available to their customers.

Maharaja Thali, Chaat Platter, Nachoos with cheese salsa, Panneer Mussalam, Malai Kofta etc are some of their must try dishes from various cuisines. Veg Pizzas and Pastas are a favorite from their continental menu, which is a truly different experience from the usual vegetarian restaurant menu which winds up with few south and north Indian dishes. Their special juice counter also serves varieties of Mocktails such as Laguna, Appletini, Spicy Red Night etc that are as spectacular to see as the taste they have.
