This Privacy Policy explains how Ertas Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the FOMO mobile application (the “App”).

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies only to the FOMO iOS app and related services we operate for the app experience.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the data needed to run the app and leaderboard features.

a) Account and Profile Data

- Apple Sign-In identifier (from Sign in with Apple)

- Email address (including Apple private relay email, if you choose Hide My Email)

- Unique username you choose in the app

- Internal user ID

b) Gameplay Data

- Daily challenge date (UTC)

- Your attempt result (measured time)

- Score/difference from target

- Ranking-related data

- Server timestamps used for fair play and anti-cheat logic

c) Technical / Service Data

- Basic technical logs needed to operate backend services (for example, request logs, error logs)

- Limited diagnostic information from platform/service providers when errors occur

d) Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect

- Precise location

- Contacts

- Photos, microphone, camera content

- Health data

- Payment card data

3. How We Use Information

We use your data to:

- Create and manage your account

- Authenticate you with Sign in with Apple

- Provide daily challenge gameplay

- Save and display leaderboard results

- Prevent abuse and cheating

- Maintain security and reliability

- Respond to support requests

4. Legal Basis (EEA/UK, if applicable)

Where required, we process personal data under one or more of these bases:

- Performance of a contract (providing the app)

- Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement)

We do not sell your personal data.

- Service providers that help us run the app (such as Firebase/Google Cloud for Authentication and Firestore database services)

The app uses third-party infrastructure to function, including:

- Apple Sign in with Apple

- Firebase Authentication and Firestore (Google)

- World time service calls for UTC time checks (when needed)

These services may process technical data (such as IP address/request metadata) according to their own privacy terms.

7. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to operate the app and leaderboard experience, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Typical retention:

- Account/profile data: until account deletion is requested or service is discontinued

- Gameplay/leaderboard records: retained to preserve leaderboard integrity and historical service operation unless deletion is requested and legally/technically feasible

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on our service providers’ infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protection.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

- Access your personal data

- Correct inaccurate data

- Delete your data

- Object to or restrict certain processing

- Request a copy/portability of your data (where applicable)

FOMO is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the legal age threshold.

12. In-App Sharing

If you use the app’s share feature, content is generated on your device and shared via iOS share options you select. We do not control or take responsibility for third-party social/media platforms where you post.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date.
