1. Important Summary
- Cloud processing is enabled by default for AI requests.
- The optional Local Model can process supported requests on your device after download.
- FlowKeyboard is designed to process keyboard text only when you actively invoke an AI feature or submit content.
- A reply request may include text you paste or a conversation screenshot you select.
- Do not submit passwords, payment details, authentication codes, health information, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information to cloud AI features.
- You can contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights or request deletion.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Content You Submit
We may process:
- selected or entered text submitted for polishing, correction, rewriting, or reply generation;
- a message you paste for contextual reply suggestions;
- a conversation screenshot you choose to upload;
- prompts, tone selections, scenarios, and other AI settings;
- results you choose to save in your workspace; and
- messages, attachments, and contact details you provide to customer support.
Conversation screenshots may contain information about other people. Please upload them only when you have a lawful basis to do so, and remove unrelated sensitive information where possible.
2.2 Device and Technical Information
We may collect device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, diagnostic logs, crash information, network status, and a pseudonymous installation or device identifier.
2.3 Usage Information
We may collect information about feature interactions, such as whether Polish, Fix, or Reply was used; selected scenarios and tones; model download state; subscription entitlement state; request timing; error events; and aggregate performance data.
We do not need to collect the full content of every keystroke to measure feature usage.
2.4 Purchase Information
Apple processes payments. We may receive transaction identifiers, subscription product, entitlement status, renewal status, expiration date, storefront, and related purchase-validation information. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple.
2.5 Information Collected Automatically by Third-Party SDKs
If we use analytics, crash reporting, attribution, cloud, or AI SDKs, those providers may process technical and usage information as described in this Policy and their agreements with us.
3. Keyboard Extension and Full Access
iOS requires Full Access for a third-party keyboard to communicate over the internet. If you enable Full Access, FlowKeyboard can send content to our cloud services when you actively request an AI function.
FlowKeyboard is designed not to transmit ordinary keystrokes merely because Full Access is enabled. Content is submitted when you select an AI action, paste or upload content, save a result to the cloud workspace, contact support, or otherwise expressly initiate a transmission.
If this behavior changes, we will update this Policy and request any consent required by law or Apple's rules.
4. Cloud and Local Processing
4.1 Cloud Processing
Cloud AI requests may include submitted text, screenshots, settings, and limited technical metadata needed to process and secure the request. We and our service providers use this information to return the requested output, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain the Service.
We will not permit a third-party AI provider to use your personal data for unrelated advertising. We will obtain explicit permission before sharing personal data with a third-party AI provider where Apple's rules or applicable law require it.
4.2 Local Processing
After you download the optional Local Model and enable Local Processing, supported polishing, correction, rewriting, and reply requests are processed on your device. Content used to generate those locally processed results is not sent to our cloud AI service for that processing. Local Processing does not mean that the entire Service operates without an internet connection. Internet access may still be required to download or update the Local Model, verify purchases or membership status, restore purchases, synchronize enabled services, receive support, perform necessary security operations, or use features not supported by the Local Model. The app will indicate when cloud processing is used.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide polishing, correction, rewriting, and reply suggestions;
- process screenshots and pasted messages at your request;
- save and synchronize workspace items you choose to retain;
- authenticate purchases and manage subscription access;
- operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- provide customer support;
- comply with law and enforce our agreements; and
- send service communications and, with consent where required, marketing communications.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use submitted keyboard content for targeted advertising.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information:
- to perform our contract with you by providing the Service;
- with your consent, including where content is shared with third-party AI services;
- for legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and service improvement, balanced against your rights; and
- to comply with legal obligations.
You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
7. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- cloud hosting and infrastructure providers;
- AI processing providers used to fulfill your request;
- analytics and crash-reporting providers;
- customer support and communications providers;
- Apple for purchases, subscription management, fraud prevention, and platform functions;
- professional advisers and authorities when required by law; and
- a successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
Service providers may process information only for contracted purposes and must provide protections consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- access or receive a copy of your personal information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete information;
- object to or restrict processing;
- withdraw consent;
- receive portable data;
- opt out of certain sharing, targeted advertising, or sale; and
- appeal a denied privacy request.
You can disable Full Access, enable Local Processing where available, delete workspace items, or remove the keyboard in iOS Settings. Local Processing can reduce the content sent to our cloud AI service, but some account, purchase, download, update, support, synchronization, and cloud-only functions may still communicate with online services. You may request account or data deletion at [PRIVACY EMAIL] or through [IN-APP DELETION PATH / PRIVACY CHOICES URL].
We may verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where allowed by law.
9. International Transfers
Your information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent lawful transfer mechanisms.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, such as encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and service-provider reviews. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information, contact [PRIVACY EMAIL].
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may link to third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. This Policy does not cover information processed independently by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our practices, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the updated version and revise the Effective Date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes where required.
