Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 27, 2026
1. About Followers Chief
Followers Chief (the “App”) is a follower analytics application designed to provide account and follower-related insights.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed in connection with the App, including information stored or processed on your device and information processed by third-party service providers.
For privacy questions, data requests, or general support, you can contact us at: insmaster96@gmail.com
The App may use or interact with third-party services such as Instagram, Apple, Google, Firebase, and RevenueCat. These services operate independently and process information according to their own privacy policies.
Followers Chief is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
2. Instagram login and information used for reports
You connect an Instagram account through Instagram’s login page displayed within the App.
Login credentials entered on Instagram’s login page are submitted directly to Instagram. The App does not provide a separate Instagram password registration system and does not intentionally store your Instagram password.
However, the App may read and retain authentication cookies, session identifiers, and related session information required to maintain your authenticated Instagram session and provide the App’s features.
These session details are sensitive credentials and should be protected accordingly.
The App stores connected-account session information using secure storage facilities provided by your device and operating system. This information may include:
Instagram account identifiers
Authentication cookies
Session information
Browser-related information
Identifiers generated by the App to maintain consistent requests
Multiple Instagram accounts may be connected and retained on the same device.
To generate reports, the App may request information available through your authenticated Instagram session, including:
User IDs
Usernames
Display names
Profile image URLs
Follower lists
Following lists
Follower and following counts
Available post counts
This may also include information relating to other Instagram accounts appearing within your follower or following lists.
The App may compare available account snapshots in order to provide features such as:
New followers
Unfollowers
Accounts you follow that do not follow you back
Mutual relationships
Follower and following changes
Other account relationship reports supported by the App
Profile images may be retrieved directly from the services hosting them. Those services may therefore receive the ordinary network information necessary to deliver those images.
Report data is stored in an encrypted local database on your device, with encryption-related information stored using secure storage where supported.
The App’s current report functionality communicates directly with Instagram and does not upload your Instagram authentication sessions or locally stored report database to a developer-operated report server.
This does not mean that all information related to the App remains solely on your device. Third-party services described below may receive information necessary to provide their respective services.
3. Other information and services
App preferences and troubleshooting
The App may store information locally on your device, including:
Language preferences
Onboarding status
Login status
Premium or Pro entitlement status
App configuration information
Update timestamps
The App may also maintain a limited local troubleshooting log.
Troubleshooting information may include:
Timestamps
Operating system information
Request stages
Sanitized service endpoints
HTTP or service status codes
Error categories
Request timing information
Browser-related technical information
The App is designed to filter authentication credentials and selected sensitive information from diagnostic logs.
If you manually copy diagnostic information, the copied information is placed on your device clipboard. If you subsequently share that information with us or another party, the recipient you choose will receive the information you send.
Google Firebase
We use Google Firebase services to support the functionality, configuration, analytics, and operation of the App.
These services may include Firebase Remote Config and Google Analytics for Firebase.
Firebase Remote Config may process installation identifiers and technical configuration information in order to provide settings and feature configuration to the App.
Google Analytics for Firebase may automatically collect information such as:
App instance identifiers
App interactions
Session information
Device characteristics
Operating system information
App version information
Technical identifiers
Approximate geographic information derived from network information
The exact information processed may depend on the Firebase SDK, Google’s policies, device settings, and our Firebase project configuration.
Firebase services may operate before you connect an Instagram account.
We do not intentionally send your Instagram authentication cookies, Instagram password, or follower and following lists to Firebase Analytics as analytics events.
Data collected through Google Analytics for Firebase is retained according to the applicable Google/Firebase settings and retention options configured for the service. We do not guarantee a fixed retention period where retention is controlled by the service provider or may vary according to configuration.

Purchases, Pro features, and RevenueCat
The App offers certain optional features to Pro users through in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Payments are processed through Apple’s App Store.
We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, manage Pro access and entitlements, and restore purchases.
RevenueCat may process information including:
A generated App user identifier
Purchase records
Subscription records
Product identifiers
Pro entitlement status
App information
Store-related transaction information
The App does not intentionally configure your Instagram username as your RevenueCat customer identifier.
We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Payment information is processed by Apple and its payment providers.

4. Support and external destinations
When you choose to send feedback or contact support, the App may open your email application with information such as:
Your message
The App name
The App version, when available
Your selected language
You decide whether to send the email.
If you contact us, we may receive:
Your email address
Your message
Any attachments or additional information you voluntarily provide
Your email provider also processes the message according to its own privacy practices.
Please do not send passwords, Instagram authentication cookies, session credentials, or other sensitive authentication information by email.
Support emails are handled through our Gmail account.
We do not maintain a fixed deletion schedule for support messages. Messages may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support history, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or protect our legitimate interests.
Messages that are no longer necessary may be deleted.
When you open Instagram pages, App Store pages, legal documents, or other external links, the destination service may receive ordinary network and device information according to its own privacy practices.
5. Purposes of processing
We process information described in this Privacy Policy for purposes including:
Providing requested follower and account-analysis features
Maintaining connected Instagram sessions
Creating and displaying account reports
Managing Pro subscriptions and entitlements
Restoring purchases
Providing application configuration
Maintaining and improving App functionality
Diagnosing technical problems
Responding to support requests
Understanding general App usage
Preventing abuse and security incidents
Complying with applicable legal obligations
Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, processing necessary to provide requested App features or purchases may be based on performing our contract with you.
Necessary security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, App improvement, and support activities may be based on our legitimate interests where permitted by applicable law.
Processing required for legal or regulatory obligations may be based on applicable legal requirements.
Where consent is required by applicable law for analytics, storage technologies, or other processing, we will rely on consent where required. Where legally applicable, you may withdraw that consent without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
6. Disclosure and international processing
Information may be processed or disclosed to third-party services where required to provide App functionality.
These services may include:
Instagram / Meta, for Instagram account access and information requested through your authenticated session
Google Firebase, for App configuration and analytics
RevenueCat, for purchase and Pro entitlement management
Apple App Store, for purchases and subscription processing
Google/Gmail, when you communicate with us by email
Other service providers necessary to deliver functionality you intentionally request
These independent providers may also process information for purposes described in their own privacy policies.
We may also disclose information under our control where reasonably necessary:
To comply with applicable laws, court orders, or lawful government requests
To investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable legal protections
We are based in Türkiye, while some of our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States and countries in which they or their service providers operate.
Where applicable law imposes requirements on international transfers of personal data, the relevant service provider and/or we will rely on applicable legal transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
For questions concerning the processing or international transfer of your information, contact: insmaster96@gmail.com
7. Retention and deletion
Connected Instagram session information may remain in secure storage until you sign out of the relevant account, remove the account where such functionality is provided, clear App data, or the information is otherwise removed.
Signing out removes the saved session for the applicable account from the App’s connected account list where supported.
Other connected accounts may remain stored.
Signing out does not necessarily:
Delete previously generated report snapshots
Delete general App preferences
Delete troubleshooting information
Delete records held by third-party providers
Delete your Instagram account
Revoke every Instagram session maintained independently by Instagram
Report information may remain within the App’s local database until it is overwritten, cleared, or App storage is removed.
iOS provides mechanisms for managing or removing an App and its local data. Deleting the App will normally remove ordinary application data stored locally on the device.
However, certain Keychain or secure-storage information, operating-system backups, iCloud/device backups, or restored device data may survive removal or may later be restored depending on your device, iOS version, account settings, and backup configuration.
For this reason, we cannot guarantee that uninstalling the App immediately deletes every possible copy of locally stored information.
You may manage Instagram login sessions separately through Instagram’s own account security settings.
Because report information stored exclusively on your device is not available to us remotely, we cannot remotely erase local databases to which we do not have access.
Third-party providers such as Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, the App Store, Instagram, and email providers maintain their own retention policies.
Analytics information is retained according to the applicable Firebase/Google Analytics configuration and provider policies.
Purchase and transaction records may be retained by RevenueCat, Apple, the App Store, and related providers according to their policies and applicable financial, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal requirements.
Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain relevant communication history, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
Where personal information is under our control, we will retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law.
To request deletion of personal information held by us or our processors, contact: insmaster96@gmail.com
We may request reasonable information necessary to identify you and locate the relevant records.
We will never ask you to provide your Instagram password as part of a privacy request.
Certain records may be retained where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Deleting App data or submitting a privacy request does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.
Subscriptions must be managed through your Apple ID subscription settings or the App Store.
8. Your choices and rights
You may choose:
Not to connect an Instagram account
To stop using account-analysis functionality
To sign out of connected accounts
Whether to purchase Pro access
Whether to send feedback or diagnostic information
Whether to contact us by email
The current App does not provide a dedicated in-App Google Analytics opt-out switch.
iOS and Apple privacy settings may affect certain identifiers or data processing, but those settings may not necessarily prevent every form of analytics processing.
Depending on your country and applicable law, you may have rights including the right to:
Request access to personal information concerning you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of eligible personal information
Request restriction of certain processing
Object to certain processing
Request a portable copy of eligible personal information
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Submit a complaint to an appropriate data protection authority
To exercise a privacy right relating to information under our control, contact: insmaster96@gmail.com
We will respond in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Some requests may not apply to information stored only on your device or information independently controlled by Instagram, Google, RevenueCat, Apple, the App Store, or another third party.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical measures intended to protect information handled by the App.
These include, where applicable:
Encrypted local storage for report data
Secure device storage for session credentials
HTTPS connections for network communications
Measures intended to prevent sensitive authentication information from being included in diagnostic logs
However, no system, device, storage mechanism, or internet transmission method can provide absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Instagram account.
If you believe your Instagram account or session has been accessed without authorization, we recommend using Instagram’s account security tools and changing relevant account credentials.
10. Children
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, or for individuals below a higher minimum age required under applicable local law.
Where applicable law requires parental or guardian authorization for the use of an online service or processing of personal information, the required authorization must be obtained.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App in violation of applicable requirements, please contact us at: insmaster96@gmail.com
We will investigate the request and take appropriate action regarding information under our control where required by applicable law.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our service providers, legal requirements, or our data-handling practices.
When this Privacy Policy is updated, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice or obtain consent before material changes take effect.
