A Melody to Jesus was inspired from the words of a text message on our church announcements chat "Melody went to be with Jesus at 10:20" This message was sent by Jon after his 11 year old daughter Melody suddenly passed away due to complications from systemic scleroderma.

While the following days and months were incredibly difficult for Melody's family and our church family God showed himself faithful and His love and care were incredibly tangible during that season. 

After I shared the words of this poem with our church, Deanna put them to music and added a chorus. The song can be found here.
