1. Introduction Fokus ("we," "us," or "our") is a productivity and parental control application designed to help users manage their time effectively and reduce distractions from other mobile applications. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Accessibility Service API Usage (CRITICAL DISCLOSURE) Our Application uses the Accessibility Service API to provide its core functionality.
Purpose: We use this API to detect when a user attempts to open a restricted or distracting application.
Function: It allows Fokus to enforce the daily or weekly usage limits and schedules set by the parent or user.
Privacy: We do not use the Accessibility Service API to collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data. It is used strictly for monitoring app launches to trigger restrictions.
3. Monitoring Tool Declaration In compliance with Google Play’s Monitoring Applications policy, Fokus is categorized as a monitoring tool intended for personal productivity and parental supervision.
A persistent notification is displayed at all times when the monitoring and restriction features are active to ensure the user is aware of the app's operation.
4. Location Data Fokus requires access to your Location Data to enable location-based application restrictions.
Usage: This allows the app to automatically activate focus modes or block specific apps when the device enters a predefined area, such as a school or library.
Control: You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings. This data is processed locally and is not shared with third parties.
5. Data Collection and Usage We do not collect personal identification information such as names, email addresses (except for support), or phone numbers.
Usage Data: We may collect non-identifiable information such as device type, OS version, and app usage statistics to improve our service.
