Hey there! Welcome to the first of the (probably) seasonal F.N.a.S.: Project Death Newsletter! (or devlog or status update)

First off, let's get one thing about the release of the Prologue and Chapter 1 rewrites out of the way, we had a deadline set in mind to release them and for a little bit, it seemed like it we would be able to make that deadline. However, now it's clear that we won't be able to make that deadline without the game being SUPER rushed. So instead of Prologue and Chapter 1 being released in a bundle, they will be released separately.

Progress updates (as of May 14th)

Prologue

It is playable from beggining to end.

Roughly half of the images have been finished.

Most of the music has been made, less than 5 need to be made.

Some details to some of the maps are missing.

Chapter 1

The first act is mostly done, missing the images and needing the last cutscene to transition into act two to be finished.

We'll announce the release date once we are about 95%-ish done with the Prologue, after that the pre-rewrite demo will no longer be available to download, we will also have to prepare for a couple of other things before we announce the date and release it.

If we were to do a release of the soundtrack, it probably won't be until after we release Chapter 1.
