This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS version of FNam Frequency, Noise Generator (“Application”), provided by FormulaNam (“we,” “us,” or “Service Provider”). It explains how information is handled by the Application’s signal-generation, playback, God’s Listening, Noise God Mode, export, and FNam Prime Seal features, and by the advertising and purchase services used with the Application.
The Application does not request permission to access your precise GPS location. Advertising and other online services may nevertheless infer an approximate location from information such as your IP address.
You do not need to create a FormulaNam account or provide your name, email address, or phone number to use the Application’s signal-generation and playback features. Signal generation, audio-file processing, and God’s Listening analysis are performed on your device. Advertising, App Store purchases, external links, and information you voluntarily send to us are handled separately as described below.
Microphone Access and God’s Listening
When you start a God’s Listening capture session, the Application requests microphone permission and captures a short sample of surrounding sound to create an editable Signal Recipe. Capture and analysis take place on your device. Raw microphone samples are held temporarily in memory for processing and are not saved by this feature as an original recording file or uploaded by the Application.
Microphone access is not used for advertising or continuous background listening. You can deny or revoke microphone permission in iOS Settings; features that do not require microphone capture remain available.
A Signal Recipe contains derived sound parameters and timing information. Applying or saving a recipe can retain those parameters locally, and exported synthesized audio can resemble the captured sound. Consider the sensitivity of the original sound before sharing a recipe or its output.
The Application accesses audio or data files that you select through the iOS file picker. Noise God Mode may copy selected WAV or CSV files into the Application’s private storage so that saved configurations can use them again. File processing and playback are performed locally.
Noise God Mode exports WAV or CSV output together with JSON session information and, when successfully applied, Prime Seal verification files. Exports are saved in the NoiseGod folder within the app’s folder, accessible through the Files app under “On My iPhone” or “On My iPad” → “NoiseGen” → “NoiseGod”.
Session information can include source names and settings, source filenames and local file references, session identifiers, start and end times, application version and build, device model, operating-system information, CPU identification or architecture where available, battery information, and output-format details.
The Application does not automatically upload these selected files or outputs to FormulaNam. Files obtained from or copied to iCloud Drive or another file provider are also subject to that provider’s storage and privacy practices. Copies you share through other applications are handled by the recipients and those applications.
FNam Prime Seal
When Prime Seal is successfully applied to a Noise God Mode export, the Application creates cryptographic records linking the files covered by the seal to their recorded contents. These records may include application-instance and session identifiers, file hashes, timestamps, public signing keys, key identifiers, digital signatures, sequence records, and key-continuity information.
Hashing and signing are performed on your device. Production signing keys are created using Apple’s Secure Enclave and managed through the system’s key-management facilities. Private signing keys are not included in exported packages. It does not send exported content to FormulaNam or Apple for sealing, and the current implementation does not request app-attestation evidence from Apple servers.
Public verification records are included with the export. Sharing the package therefore also shares those records. Repeated identifiers or public keys can allow recipients to associate multiple packages with the same application instance or signing key.
Prime Seal does not encrypt or anonymize exported content. The current iOS implementation does not include independent app-attestation evidence establishing that a package originated from the official FNam application. A successful verification establishes consistency with the signed records being checked; it does not establish the truth of the input content or exclude manipulation before sealing.
The Application offers free features and optional Premium access through paid subscriptions. Temporary access may also be available through rewarded advertisements or Lucky Mode.
Successfully completing the first qualifying rewarded advertisement grants one hour of temporary Premium access.
Completing the second qualifying rewarded advertisement sets the expiry to three hours after that advertisement is completed. This does not add three hours to the remaining trial time.
Trial eligibility, expiry information, and Lucky Mode records are stored locally. Availability is shown in the Application.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. The Application uses StoreKit purchase and entitlement information, including the relevant product, verification, subscription-status, and expiry information, to enable, maintain, or restore access. FormulaNam does not receive your full payment-card details through the Application. Apple handles payment and account information under its own policies.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings. Deleting the Application does not cancel a subscription.
The Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, with configured advertising partners including Meta Audience Network where enabled and available. Depending on SDK functionality, advertising configuration, device settings, and applicable privacy choices, Google and participating advertising partners may process information such as IP addresses, advertising or other app-related identifiers, device and operating-system information, ad impressions, taps, video views, and diagnostic or performance information. This information may be used for advertising, measurement, service operation, analytics, security, and fraud prevention under the relevant providers’ policies. Such processing is not necessarily limited to aggregated or anonymous information.
The Application does not supply raw God’s Listening recordings, saved Signal Recipes, or user-selected audio and data files to advertising services.

Advertising and platform providers handle information under their own policies and may process it in countries other than your own. FormulaNam does not automatically receive your locally processed audio or files merely because you use the Application.
The Application stores settings, presets, the last Noise God Mode configuration, imported file copies, trial-expiry information, Lucky Mode records, and Prime Seal operational records on your device. Prime Seal may retain unfinished export data for recovery and verification records needed to maintain signing history.
Eligible application data and exported documents may be included in iCloud or computer backups according to your settings and Apple’s rules. Prime Seal’s private working and identity-record directories are marked to be excluded from normal backup, and its signing keys are configured as non-synchronizing, device-only keys. These protections do not exclude all other application data or exported documents from backup.
You can remove available presets and exported files through the relevant application controls or the Files app. Deleting the Application removes its app-container data under iOS rules; offloading the Application retains its documents and data. Uninstallation must not be treated as a guarantee that all Keychain items, backups, externally saved or shared copies, or records held by third parties have also been deleted.
Manage external copies and backups through the relevant provider or recipient. Information held independently by advertising or platform providers is subject to their retention and deletion policies.
Support and External Links
If you contact FormulaNam by email or submit feedback through a linked form, we receive the information you provide and use it to respond to your request or investigate an issue. Support communications are retained as necessary to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations.
Links to Google Forms, YouTube, and other external services are governed by those services’ privacy practices. They may process technical or account information. Only include recordings, exported packages, or other sensitive information in a support request if you intend to share it.
Permissions and Privacy Choices
The Application requests App Tracking Transparency authorization through iOS. You can manage this permission in Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking, and manage microphone access through the relevant iOS permission settings. Denying tracking permission does not remove advertisements or necessarily stop all data processing needed for advertising and platform services.
Playback information, such as the active mode, selected ASMR name, frequency, or playback status, may appear in Live Activities on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. These activities are updated locally by the Application and do not use a FormulaNam push-notification server. Manage their visibility through the applicable iOS settings.
The Application is not directed to children under 13 or below the minimum age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly seek personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to FormulaNam, contact fotmulanam@gmail.com so that we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where appropriate.
The Application uses iOS permission, app-storage, and key-management mechanisms where applicable. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Digital signatures do not encrypt exported files. Protect your device and review file contents before sharing them.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Application or its information-handling practices change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before introducing relevant changes.
