Fluid Machinery & Systems Laboratory

Welcome to the Fluid Machinery and Systems Laboratory (FMSL) at Changwon national university

FMSL aims to study fluid machinery and systems, which are industrial applications of fluid mechanics. Our research is focused on the design and flow analyses of fluid machinery such as pumps, turbines, and valves, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems in various applications. We are also interested in the development of advanced fluid machinery and systems for emerging industries, AI-based design optimization, and prognostics & health management technology.

국립창원대학교 기계공학부 유체기계 및 시스템 연구실은 유체역학의 산업적 응용 분야인 유체기계 및 유체시스템을 연구하는 것을 목적으로 합니다. 우리 연구실의 주요 연구 분야는 펌프, 터빈, 밸브와 같은 전통 유체기계와 더불어 다양한 산업 분야에 적용되는 유체시스템의 설계, 해석 및 실험에 관한 내용을 포함하고 있습니다. 또한, 항공/방산 분야 등 사회적 수요에 대응하기 위해 요구되는 첨단 유체기계 개발, 인공지능 기반의 설계 최적화 그리고 건전성 관리 기술 등을 연구하고 있습니다.

We are currently seeking undergraduate and graduate students interested in research for fluid machinery and systems. We will provide opportunities such as scholarships, technical educations (H/W & S/W), industry-university cooperation research, and participation in academic conferences.
