I'm a researcher at CCMAR, Faro, Portugal, dedicated to unravelling the intricate relationships between species and their environment.
My research explores the dynamics of ecological networks, with a particular focus on the impacts of climate change and human-induced disturbances on species distributions and interactions. I'm passionate about applying biogeographic and macroecological principles to understand patterns of biodiversity and ecosystem function.
In addition to my research, I actively engage with the scientific community through the blog Geekcologist, where I share insights on ecology, biogeography, and R programming.
