Dr. S. Gopalakrishnan
Dr.S. Gopalakrishnan received his Doctoral degree in Physics from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli-620 024, India. He was awarded junior research fellowship and senior research fellowships from the University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. of India. He focused his prime research on the fabrication of low-dimensional nanostructure of II-VI semiconductor, transition metal dichalcogenides using physical/chemical vapor deposition and wet chemical etching method for photo(electro)chemical water splitting application. He is currently working on the design and development of earth-abundant catalysts for fresh/seawater electrolysis applications.
Campus: SRM INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, Kattankulathur – Chennai.
Research Interest: Hybrid organic/inorganic 2D-nanostructure for photoelectrochemical/electrocatalytic water splitting
