This piece was among the most challenging and most rewarding that I've ever been asked to do! I was contacted by my employer to design a T-Shirt for their Christmas program, and asked to make it nontraditional and unique to their business. I was given the color palette and references, shown in the second image, and I based my design specifically off of their Christmas tree and their nutcracker. I was then asked to add some more flair and to have each component of the piece attached to a string, which I then did! After refining and redrawing the piece to make the ballerinas more diverse and anatomically correct, it was ready to send in! I am immensely proud of this piece and it took a total of 7 hours to complete across a couple of weeks.
