面對政治寒冬，作為一班流散在外的香港人以及深愛香港的人，我們絕不選擇沉默。
我們決定利用在海外的自由空間，創立第一本實體海外香港人雜誌，建構並保存一個公共議論香港的媒介。
黎明來臨之前，我們都會長夜相伴，以文字書寫出我們的信念和堅持，在黑夜中為大家提供希望的憑藉。
In the face of the bleak winter of political purge in Hong Kong, we, as a group of diasporic Hong Kongers who possess a deep affection for Hong Kong, refuse to remain silent.
We therefore would like to exercise our freedom of speech overseas and establish the first printed magazine for our people, aiming at creating and preserving a larger room for the discussion of Hong Kong’s issues.
Before the first rays of dawn, we would like to, through our publication, demonstrate our conviction in safeguarding Hong Kong and offer companion and comfort to our comrades.
