1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how we ("we", "us", or "our") collect, uses, and shares your information when you use our VPN application FlowCloud ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. FlowCloud does NOT log or record your VPN browsing activities in any way that can be associated with you.
2. Age Restrictions
Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we discover such collection, we will delete the data immediately.
3. Key Assurances
No VPN browsing logs: We do not record what you browse, view, or do online via our VPN connection.
Encryption: All VPN traffic is encrypted. We do not inspect or record your browsing content.
No data to share: Since we collect no VPN activity data, even if compelled by legal request, there is nothing to provide.
Free version ads: Free users may see personalized ads, but these ads are not based on your VPN browsing activity. Ad partners use your advertising identifier (AAID/IDFA) for personalization. You can reset or disable these identifiers via your device settings.
Paid version: Paid versions contain no ads and send no data to advertising partners.
4. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Account info (optional): name, email, password (if you create an account)
Payment info: processed by third-party payment processors (we do not store your card details)
Support info: email, payment info, usage details when you contact us
Information collected automatically
IP address: collected temporarily to provide the VPN service, but not stored after the session ends. Used to approximate location (city/country) for server selection.
Device information: device model, OS version, app version, network info
Device hash: randomly generated identifier (resettable by reinstalling the app)
Advertising identifier (free users only): AAID (Android) or IDFA (iOS) – used by ad networks for personalized ads. You can disable this via device settings.
Usage & diagnostic data: speed, latency, connection success/failure, error reports, feature usage (anonymized, not linked to browsing activity)
Cookies and tracking technologies: used for authentication, preferences, analytics, and advertising (see Section 8)

Legal compliance: if required by law, but note we have no VPN browsing data to share
Business transfer: if the company is acquired or merged
We do not sell your personal information (except as defined by CCPA for advertising identifiers – see Section 12).
7. Advertising Services (Free Version Only)
Free users will see ads served by third-party ad networks. These networks may collect:

Device make, model, OS version, language, time zone
App name where ad is shown

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (SDKs, pixel tags) for:

VPN browsing activity: NOT stored (zero retention)
Account and payment data: retained as long as you have an account or as required by law (e.g., tax records)
Usage/diagnostic data: retained for a shorter period (typically up to 12 months) for analytics and improvement
Advertising identifiers: collected by ad networks per their policies
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Residual data may remain in backups for security purposes.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) are in place for such transfers.
