FLORIN CUCU

I am an economist conducting research in international trade, migration, and political economy.

Between 2020 and 2023, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. At ECARES, I worked with Paola Conconi (University of Oxford). Between 2018 and 2020, I was a Temporary Teaching and Research Assistant at Sciences Po.

I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from Sciences Po, a Master's degree in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po, the École Polytechnique, and the École Nationale de la Statistique de l'Administration Économique, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Sciences Po.  Between 2011 and 2012 I was a visiting student at Keble College, University of Oxford. Between 2017 and 2018, I was a Fox International Fellow at the University of Yale.

I have published in the European Economic Review and my work has been featured on VoxEU.
