First Sergeant Kevin T. Doe Crowsyn is originally from Garden Grove, CA. During the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, he enlisted into the US Army Reserve on November 7, 2001. He graduated from Rancho Alamitos High School in 2002 before completing Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, SC. He was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty of 71L, Administrative Specialist (which was later converted to MOS 42A, Human Resources Specialist).
1SG Doe Crowsyn’s first assignment in the Army Reserve was with the 176th Medical Group in Garden Grove, CA. The unit deployed to Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo in 2003 where he worked in the Tactical Operations Center of Bondsteel Hospital. In 2004, he deployed to Camp Spearhead, Kuwait with the 483rd Transportation Battalion and assisted with maintaining accountability of over 107,000 pieces of equipment entering and departing the OIF theater of operations.
His time in the Reserve culminated in 2008 when he served as Detachment Sergeant of 380th Adjutant General Battalion (Headquarters Detachment) in Bothell, WA. While a member of the Army Reserve he also held civilian positions with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, US Air Force’s Space and Missile Command, and the US Army.
He volunteered to be a recruiter in the Active Guard Reserve program in 2009 and served in Portland Recruiting Battalion and Seattle Recruiting Battalion. In 2014, while in Seattle Battalion, he oversaw training and implementation of 6th Brigade’s “Digital Recruiting Program”, which was USAREC’s first formalized brigade-wide virtual recruiting effort. He then served as a Station Commander in Indianapolis Recruiting Battalion and 1st Medical Recruiting Battalion; and US Army Reserve Operations NCOIC in Albany Recruiting Battalion. He has continued to assist in the development and implementation of virtual recruiting strategy with various organizations across USAREC.
In April of 2020, he reported to serve as First Sergeant to the Orlando Medical Recruiting Company, where he has helped ensure their continued success as the number 1 ranked medical recruiting company in the brigade in FY20 and FY21. They are the first company in the history of the Medical Recruiting Brigade to win three years in a row. He also served as co-author of USAREC Techniques Publication 3-10.5 “Medical Recruiting”, which is USAREC’s first publication that provides detailed guidance on virtual recruiting strategy and tactics.
1SG Doe Crowsyn is a graduate of all Army Noncommissioned Officer Education System courses through Master Leader Course. He is also a graduate of the US Army Reserve Unit Administrator Course, Army Recruiter Course, Army Recruiting Station Commander Course, Guidance Counselor and Operations Course (Honor Graduate), Army Health Care Recruiting Course (Honor Graduate), and Army Recruiting First Sergeant and Commander Course. 1SG Doe Crowsyn earned a Master of Mass Communication degree specializing in Social Media from the University of Florida. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management, Associate of Arts in General Studies, and Undergraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from American Military University.

1SG Doe Crowsyn is married to Kyla Crowsyn, formerly Moore of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada. Together, they have a son, Xander, and three dogs; Luke, Pierre, and Layla.
