Effective Date: February 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how FloatZero ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the FloatZero Schedule Checker Chrome extension. Our primary goal is to provide a secure tool for DCMA 14-point schedule analysis while ensuring your proprietary project data remains entirely under your control.
Our extension is built on a "Zero-Server" architecture.
XER File Data: When you load a Primavera P6 XER file into the extension, the parsing and analysis occur locally in your browser's memory.
No Data Transmission: FloatZero does not collect, store, or transmit any project data, schedule details, activity names, costs, or metadata to any external servers.
Personal Information: We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or location.
We do not sell, trade, or share any information with third parties. Because all file processing is contained within your local browser environment, no third party—including FloatZero—ever has access to your files or the results of your DCMA checks.
The extension requests the following minimum permissions to function:
storage: Used solely to remember your custom threshold settings (e.g., your specific "High Float" limit) on your own device.
activeTab: To allow the extension interface to open and interact with the file you choose to upload.
We utilize Chrome’s secure sandbox environment to process data. Since no data is transmitted over the internet, your project schedules are protected by your own organization’s local security protocols and device encryption.
FloatZero may update this policy to reflect changes in Chrome Store requirements. Any updates will be posted here with a revised "Effective Date."
