To make the app work and remember your preferences, the following information is stored on your device:
Which sections you have marked as read.
Your results and answers from your most recent practice test.
Settings, such as color themes, number of questions, and test duration.
Information confirming that a purchase has been verified, allowing you to access unlocked content.
This information is used to provide the app's features and the content you have purchased. It is not used for advertising and is not sent to any server operated by the developer.
Flippo does not provide its own cloud synchronization. However, app data may be included in your device backups, depending on your Apple settings.
Purchases and purchase restoration are handled by Apple. The app uses Apple's in-app purchase system to verify whether you have access to paid content.
The developer does not have access to your card number or other complete payment details. Apple may provide transaction information and sales reports. Apple's handling of personal data is described in App Store & Privacy.
Flippo does not contain advertisements or use third-party advertising or analytics tools to track your activity. The app does not track you across other apps or websites.
Apple may provide aggregated usage statistics in accordance with your sharing preferences and Apple's terms. This is separate from the reading progress and test answers stored locally in Flippo. Learn more from Apple.
If you send us an email, we process your email address, your name (if provided), and any information you choose to share. This information is used to respond to your questions and handle your request.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in providing support. If your request concerns providing something you have purchased, the processing may instead be necessary to fulfill our contract with you.
Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to handle your request and any follow-up communication. It is then deleted unless longer retention is required to comply with a legal obligation or handle a legal claim.
Emails are handled through Gmail. Google may process personal data outside the EU/EEA. Information about Google's data processing and safeguards for international transfers is available in Google's Privacy Policy.
Your reading progress, settings, and most recent test results remain on your device until they are changed, replaced, or the app's data is deleted. When you delete the app, its ordinary locally stored data is normally removed. Offloading the app is not the same as deleting it.
Information stored in your device's Keychain, such as a local record of a verified purchase, may remain after the app has been deleted. Purchase history and any device backups are managed separately by Apple.
The developer does not have access to your locally stored reading progress or test data and therefore cannot view or delete this information remotely.
If we process your personal data, you have the right, subject to the conditions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise your rights, contact alengqvist@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
This policy may be updated if the app's features or data handling practices change. The date at the top indicates when the policy was last updated. We will provide appropriate notice of any significant changes.
If you have any questions about our privacy policy, you can email us.
