Flip Pix Photos ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Flip Pix Photos mobile application (the "App") on iOS devices.
1. Local Storage & Limited Data Collection
We believe your memories should remain private.
No Server Storage for Local Content: All photos, text descriptions, album names, and stories you create within the App are stored exclusively on your local iOS device. We do not own, operate, or maintain any external cloud servers for storing this content.
No User Accounts: The App does not require any account registration, login, or email sign-up. You can use all core features immediately upon download.
No Behavioral Tracking: We do not collect, harvest, track, or share your location data, browsing behavior, or usage analytics.
2. AI-Powered Features & Third-Party Processing
Certain features in the App — such as background removal and photo restoration — require AI image processing that cannot be performed on-device. For these specific features only:
When you choose to use an AI-powered editing feature, the selected photo is temporarily transmitted to our AI processing partner, Perfect Corp, for the sole purpose of completing your requested edit (e.g., restoring image quality).
We do not store a copy of this photo on our own servers, and we do not use it for advertising, analytics, model training, or any purpose other than fulfilling your edit request.
Once processing is complete, the resulting image is returned directly to your device.

All other features of the App — including photo organization, memory cards, collages, frames, duplicate detection, and storage management — operate entirely on your device without any data transmission.
3. Device Permissions Required
To provide its core functionalities, the App may request the following permission on your iPhone:
Photo Library Access: Required to allow you to select photos for editing and story creation, view your local albums, and use the built-in storage management/cleanup tools. Except for the AI features described in Section 2, all interactions happen locally on your device.
4. Data Security
For content stored locally, security relies on your device's own protections (such as Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode). We recommend keeping your iOS updated and backed up via iCloud if you wish to further secure your device data. For AI-powered features, photos are transmitted securely to our processing partner and are not retained by us afterward.
5. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics software. The App does use a third-party AI image processing service (Perfect Corp) solely to power specific editing features, as described in Section 2.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted directly within this document or updated via App Store releases.
