This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the mobile application Puzzles: Van Gogh, Monet and more, also presented in-app as Art Puzzles: Famous Paintings (the “App”).
The App is designed to avoid unnecessary data collection. It does not require an account, login, username, or password. The current version does not display third-party ads and does not use an advertising network or analytics service.
1. Who we are
The publisher of the App (“Publisher”), identified in Section 13 (Identity & Contact), operates the App and is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this Policy.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Türkiye, the Publisher acts as the data controller, or equivalent legal role, under applicable data protection laws.
2. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to the App and its in-app functionality.
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, stores, or platform services that may be opened from or used with the App, such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, external privacy/terms pages, subscription management pages, or email apps. Those third parties process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.
3. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the applicable digital consent age in your country, to use the App.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the applicable age. If we become aware that such data has been collected through support communication, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
4. Information we process
We aim to minimize data collection.
A. Information you provide
Support communications
If you contact us for support, we may process:
• your email address
• the content of your message
• any information you choose to provide
This information is used only to respond to your request, provide assistance, and keep reasonable support records.
B. Local app data stored on your device
The App stores gameplay and preference data locally on your device. This may include:
• daily free-game count
• gameplay progress
• puzzle and card-matching scores
• settings and sound preferences
• selected language
• custom puzzle information
If you create custom puzzles, images you select may be processed and stored locally on your device for use in the App.
This local app data is not transmitted to the Publisher’s server. The App does not use a custom backend server for accounts, analytics, advertising, or gameplay tracking.
If you uninstall the App, clear app storage, change devices, or experience operating-system or technical issues, local data may be lost.
C. Purchases and subscriptions
The App may offer subscriptions for unlimited gameplay.
Payments, billing, refunds, cancellation, renewal, introductory offers, and subscription management are handled by the relevant platform provider:
• Apple App Store
• Google Play Store
We do not collect or store payment card information.
The App may receive limited purchase or subscription status information from Apple or Google through platform purchase APIs. This is used only to unlock or restore subscription access in the App.
D. App update checks
The App may use platform services to check for updates:
• on Android, Google Play in-app update services
• on iOS, App Store version lookup services
These checks are used only to determine whether an app update is available.
E. Data we do not collect
The App does not collect:
• account registration data
• usernames or passwords
• precise geolocation
• contact lists
• SMS messages
• microphone audio
• advertising identifiers for ads
• analytics events
• crash reports sent to the Publisher
• gameplay activity sent to a custom server
5. Purposes of processing and legal bases
Depending on your location, legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
A. Provide and operate the App
Information is processed to:
• enable gameplay features
• store local progress and preferences
• unlock subscription access
• restore purchases
• maintain core functionality

Information may be processed if necessary to:

• enforce terms
• protect the rights, safety, or security of the Publisher, users, or the public

6. Advertising and analytics
The current version of the App does not display third-party advertisements.
The current version of the App does not use Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Sentry, or similar analytics/crash reporting services.
If advertising, analytics, or crash reporting services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy and app store privacy disclosures will be updated as required.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal data.
We do not share gameplay data with a custom backend server.
Information may be shared only when necessary for the following purposes:
A. Platform services
Apple and Google may process information when you use App Store / Google Play services, including purchases, subscriptions, restore purchases, refunds, and update checks. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
B. Support communication
If you contact us by email, your email provider and our email provider may process the communication as necessary to deliver and manage the message.
C. Legal compliance and protection
Information may be disclosed if reasonably necessary to:
• comply with applicable laws or legal processes
• enforce policies or terms
• protect rights, safety, or security
• detect or prevent fraud, security issues, or technical problems
8. Third-party links and services
The App may include links to external pages, such as:
• privacy policy
• terms and conditions
• subscription management pages
• the Publisher’s website
• email contact
Opening those links may take you outside the App. Third-party websites, stores, and services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
9. International data transfers
If you contact us for support, your message may be processed in countries outside your own depending on email service infrastructure.
Apple and Google may also process Store-related data internationally according to their own privacy policies and safeguards.
10. Data retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy unless a longer period is required by law.
Examples:
• Local gameplay data remains on your device until deleted by you, the App, or the operating system.
• Support communications are retained as necessary to respond to inquiries and maintain reasonable records.
• Purchase and subscription records are handled primarily by Apple or Google according to their policies.
11. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
• access to your data
• correction of inaccurate data
• deletion of data
• restriction of processing
• objection to processing
• data portability
• withdrawal of consent where applicable
You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including authorities in the EEA, UK, or Türkiye.
To exercise your rights, contact us using the email listed in Section 13.
Because the App does not use accounts and most gameplay data is stored only locally on your device, the Publisher may not be able to identify a specific user or access local app data stored on a user’s device.
12. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information we process.
However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
13. App store privacy disclosures
We provide privacy disclosures within app stores, including Apple App Store privacy disclosures and Google Play Data Safety disclosures where applicable.
These disclosures summarize data practices. This Privacy Policy provides a more detailed description of our practices.
If the App changes, we will update store disclosures and this Policy as required.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If changes are material, we will provide notice within the App or through store update notes where reasonably feasible.
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by law.
