The A320 NWS Disconnect is a punch and release button on the tiller. It isn't a toggle on/off system, it is a disconnect that works until you release pressure for flight control checks. I haven't tried it yet, but that is how the system really works.
Other commands (like: sim/flight_controls/speed_brakes_down_one) is available in the dataref tool and is working. I can also set a320/... datarefs. But still stuggeling to get the A320 commands to work.

If you can't supply the above info and still have problems and don't get a responce from FF Tech Support within a day or so, just contact FlightFactor again at flightfactor.aero/ticket and give them a gentle reminder.
Unfortunately you didn't attach a copy of your Log.txt from a problem flight, or even say which version the Boeing B767-300ER or of X-Plane 11 you are using?, so oneone can tell what happened.
Without that there is nothing your fellow users here on the .ORG forms can do, so I suggest you contact FlightFactor at flightfactor.aero/ticket
I have downloaded a new fresh install of XP11 on my new MacBook Pro M1.
I'm totally new to XP on Mac. only had it on PC before.
After installing XP11 and verifying that it runs I have purchased the 767 package, downloaded the zip, extracted it, and placed it inside my "\\X-Plae11\Aircraft\" Folder so it now looks like this: "\\X-Plae11\Aircraft\Boeing767-Extended".
I then ran XP11 and it runs fine with stock aircraft, however when I try to use the new 767 plane I get all kinds of funky problems:
1. During loading of the flight I get the error message in attached screenshot named "01". I get it 4 times and have to click cancel 4 times to proceed.
2. Then the flight loads up but there is no mouse cursor available.
3. When the plane loads up it loads as seen in attached screen shot "02" (which is a closeup of the headrest upholstery.
4. I'm able to pan my view around to see the cockpit and the cockpit looks like in attached screenshot "03" and "04". It's a dark cockpit (I don't know if it's on purpose or not) however I'm sure the second instance of the MCP that is stuck there in the middle of the cockpit should not be there..
5. The external model is missing textures as can be see in attached screenshot "05".
6. When I use the Escape key to bring up the XP11 top menu, and after pressing all kinds of combinations on my touchpad, finally the mouse comes up, but the menu doesn't work. clicking items does nothing, and it seems to stutter at that point.
7. The only way I could turn off the XP11 app is by CMD+TAB and switching to another open window in the background in order to bring up the Apple top menu bar, and from there I used the "Force Quit.." app to kill XP11.
8. I tried loading it again but same thing happens over and over.
I'm starting a Boeing 767 type rating course in 2 days in real life and I really need this to run well ASAP.
Hope you could help me solve the issues in a timely manner.
attached is a copy of my Log.txt file found in the "\\X-Plane11\" parent folder.
FFA320 all the way. The JARdesign is a flying bug honestly. Lots of FMC issues/ missing features. Routes are barely ever drawn correctly on the ND and every other flight is either a CTD or the plane is unable to follow NAV correctly
I don't know how a rather cheap x-plane add-on can actually be a study level sim if not even the manufacturer knows everything! Not even e.g. the flightdeck a3xx stand alone sim is perfect and has some gross errors.
The Jar has got issues, yes... but its a very good addon (and moderate airbus teaching aid) none the less. The sounds (bss pack) and night lighting outdo the current FF version by miles. But the flight model and detail in the FF, outdo the Jar. the FF can be described as a highly refined Jar imo.
Expectations from the sim community are rising as more powerful hardware becomes available. What used to be the flavour of the day like EADT X737 or Jar Design's A320 is now getting bad rap over follow on versions like ZIBO 737-800 or FF A320 which isn't even available yet. ZIBO's support thread is just one big mess without any structure and no clear info on what the current version is. About the FF A320, just looking nicer, graphics wise, is certainly no purchase incentive for me. I would expect way deeper system depth, like programming alternates for flight plans to name just one, which neither X-Plane aircraft are capable off at the time, at least no-one convinced me of the opposite. There is a similar debate between X-Enviro and SMP with X-Enviro currently having the edge. Well competition is good, but apparently as of now X-Enviro and FF A320 don't seem to be getting along too well, when it comes to the rain effect. Well I am sure these problems will be fixed too, and I think SMP will pull even or exceed the current X-Enviro and I am also sure the JAR A320 will see improvements. I would be careful to jump to conclusions and please give everyone a fair chance. Just wait and see.

Aha, of course that'l make a tremendous difference. I guess one has to be a beta tester to get that knowledge. From your in depth report I also hear that none of the other aircraft in x-plane are capable of considering alternate airports in flight planning. So the FF A320 would definitely not only be a first to me with these capabilities. It is just interesting to watch how much more advanced this sim gets. Thanks for clearing this up.
Actually, I barely fly other A/C anymore so I cannot speak for all payware A/C. But as far as my experience goes, they don't. ALTN is often considered as an non-normal or abnormal flight phase and is therefore not modeled. In fact many Holdings, especially the entry procedures are modeled erroneous or were just recently corrected (FF757/767).
Enroute you can can access pages within pages of data. Helpful is "Wind Forecasts" for different wind altitudes, and that wind data is also translated to the flight PROGRESS (page 2) data. Aircraft cruise (CRZ) ECOM data (page 2) is also available. So you can see that the correct programming of the MCDU is critical in many areas of flight for performance and visual data, this is one very intelligent aircraft. that flies to very specific inputs and weights and balances.
Overhead in two forward spot (chart lights) and two rear main (Storm) lighting fills the cabin with great working light in flight or setting up on the ground. Power overhead (OVHD) lighting gives you full cockpit illumination.
Negatives... minor but there are a few niggles, It takes a long time to set up for flight, there is a lot of inputting and detailed areas to cover, so it is not a jump in and fly aircraft by any standards, but creating routes and saving them can really help in reprogramming the MCDU, but your work is certainly cut out in there. The ground vehicles are looking a bit out of date and wrong in a modern airport context, a bit 60's Eastern Bloc. That cabin crew constant communication "pinging" drives you mental, yes you are required to satisfy its needs but a lot of "pinging" 500ft out from landing it is more like "just shut up and sit down"
The best heavy aircraft in simulation in X-Plane, well that is a big call for this excellent Boeing 767-300ER, but certainly it again raises the standards to another level again in every area, it is not in the first look that it really delivers but in the minute detailing of systems and programming and flight performance, in that area it is simply outstanding.
"Most of the options included in the real 767" This is not true. The real 767 has a LOT more options then the ones included. For example, in real life, the digital mcp shown on this 767 is quite rare, most 767s have a 747 style mcp. Another glaring missing feature is the lack of options for the doors. In real life, quite a lot of 767 operators did not choose the overwing exits. Of course, lets not forget the missing GE and RR engines, but FF have said that those will come later. Many other things are inaccurate or missing. For example, the standby attitude indicator is colored wrong, brown and blue instead of black and blue. Another very big error, is the rotating beacon light. In real life, 767s have a flashing beacon, not a rotating beacon. A very minor but annoying thing, is the fact that the FMC does not have an option for cost index 0. According to Boeing documents, this should be possible. _2_07/AERO_Q207_article5.pdf Finally, the quality of the livery's is very poor for a 64$ aircraft. Don't get me wrong, this is a great aircraft, and most of the errors are quite minor, but when someone is charging me 64$s for a simulated aircraft (remember, that's only 5 dollars less then the NGX, which I am sure we can all agree is the epitome of flight simulation) and not even bothering to look at a picture of a real American Airlines 767 to confirm that they did it right, you know something is off. 9af72c28ce
