Overview
Flexi FlashNotes is a "local-first" notepad app. Everything you create — text, drawings, photos, audio recordings and reminders — is stored only on your device. We do not have an account system, we do not run a server that receives your notes, and your content is never uploaded to us or to any cloud by the app.
The only data that leaves your device is the data handled by the advertising service described below, which keeps the app free.
Information stored on your device (not collected by us)
The following stays on your phone and is never sent to the developer:
• The notes you write, including text, hand drawings, photos you add and audio you record.
• Your reminders, alarms and app settings (theme, language, fonts, backgrounds).
If you uninstall the app, this data is removed by Android, unless you have made a backup yourself (see "Backup").
Permissions and why we ask for them
• Microphone — only to record audio inside a note, when you tap record. Audio is saved on your device.
• Photos / Camera (via the system picker) — only to take or pick a photo to add to a note. Images are saved on your device.
• Notifications — to show your reminders and alarms.
• Exact alarms, run at boot, vibration, wake lock, ignore battery optimizations — to make alarms ring reliably at the time you set, even after the phone restarts. Some phones aggressively close background apps; these permissions help the alarm still work.
• Access to a folder you choose (Storage Access Framework) — only when you set up a backup folder, so the app can save and restore your backup there. The app accesses only the folder you select.
Backup
You can choose a folder (on your device or SD card) where the app saves a backup copy of your notes and media. This backup stays where you put it; the developer never receives it. You are responsible for the backup location you choose.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
To keep the app free, Flexi FlashNotes shows ads through Google AdMob, a Google service. To serve ads, AdMob may collect and process certain data, which may include a device advertising identifier, IP address and general device information, and app interaction data related to ads.
This data is processed and shared with Google (and its advertising partners) to show ads and measure their performance. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your settings and consent.

Consent (EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland): where required by law, the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, using Google's consent message. You can change or withdraw your choice later.
Your controls: you can reset or limit ad tracking from your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads), where you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization. In a future version, an optional in-app purchase will let you remove ads entirely.
Children
Flexi FlashNotes is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and deletion
Your notes live on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app. Ad-related data handled by Google is governed by Google's own retention policies (see the links above). For any request, contact us at the email below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will reflect any change. Significant changes will be reflected here at the same address.

Flexi FlashNotes è un'app di note "local-first". Tutto ciò che crei — testo, disegni, foto, registrazioni audio e promemoria — è salvato solo sul tuo dispositivo. Non esiste un sistema di account, non gestiamo un server che riceve le tue note e l'app non carica i tuoi contenuti né a noi né su alcun cloud.
L'unico dato che esce dal dispositivo è quello gestito dal servizio pubblicitario descritto sotto, che mantiene l'app gratuita.
Informazioni salvate sul tuo dispositivo (non raccolte da noi)
Quanto segue resta sul telefono e non viene mai inviato allo sviluppatore:
• Le note che scrivi, incluso testo, disegni a mano, foto che aggiungi e audio che registri.
• I tuoi promemoria, sveglie e impostazioni dell'app (tema, lingua, font, sfondi).
Se disinstalli l'app, questi dati vengono rimossi da Android, a meno che tu non abbia creato un backup (vedi "Backup").
Permessi e perché li chiediamo
• Microfono — solo per registrare un audio dentro una nota, quando tocchi registra. L'audio è salvato sul dispositivo.
• Foto / Fotocamera (tramite il selettore di sistema) — solo per scattare o scegliere una foto da aggiungere a una nota. Le immagini sono salvate sul dispositivo.
• Notifiche — per mostrare i tuoi promemoria e le sveglie.
• Sveglie esatte, avvio al riavvio, vibrazione, wake lock, esenzione dal risparmio batteria — per far suonare le sveglie in modo affidabile all'orario impostato, anche dopo il riavvio del telefono. Alcuni telefoni chiudono con forza le app in background; questi permessi aiutano la sveglia a funzionare comunque.
• Accesso a una cartella che scegli tu (Storage Access Framework) — solo quando imposti una cartella di backup, per salvarvi e ripristinarvi il backup. L'app accede solo alla cartella che selezioni.
Backup
Puoi scegliere una cartella (sul dispositivo o su scheda SD) dove l'app salva una copia di backup delle tue note e dei media. Questo backup resta dove lo metti tu; lo sviluppatore non lo riceve mai. La scelta della posizione del backup è una tua responsabilità.
Pubblicità (Google AdMob)
Per mantenere l'app gratuita, Flexi FlashNotes mostra pubblicità tramite Google AdMob, un servizio di Google. Per mostrare gli annunci, AdMob può raccogliere ed elaborare alcuni dati, che possono includere un identificatore pubblicitario del dispositivo, l'indirizzo IP e informazioni generali sul dispositivo, e dati di interazione con l'app relativi agli annunci.
Questi dati sono elaborati e condivisi con Google (e i suoi partner pubblicitari) per mostrare gli annunci e misurarne il rendimento. Gli annunci possono essere personalizzati o non personalizzati a seconda delle tue impostazioni e del tuo consenso.

Consenso (UE/SEE, Regno Unito, Svizzera): dove richiesto dalla legge, l'app chiede il tuo consenso prima di mostrare annunci personalizzati, usando il messaggio di consenso di Google. Puoi modificare o revocare la scelta in seguito.
I tuoi controlli: puoi reimpostare o limitare il tracciamento pubblicitario dalle impostazioni del dispositivo (Android: Impostazioni → Privacy → Annunci), dove puoi reimpostare l'ID pubblicità o disattivare la personalizzazione. In una versione futura, un acquisto in-app opzionale permetterà di rimuovere del tutto la pubblicità.
Minori
Flexi FlashNotes non è rivolta a bambini sotto i 13 anni. Non raccogliamo consapevolmente informazioni personali da minori.
Conservazione e cancellazione dei dati
Le tue note vivono sul tuo dispositivo e vengono rimosse quando le elimini o disinstalli l'app. I dati pubblicitari gestiti da Google seguono le politiche di conservazione di Google (vedi i link sopra). Per qualsiasi richiesta, scrivici all'email qui sotto.
