Applications to perform at the 2019 are now open!
We receive a large number of applications - many more than we are able to book - and we are not able to provide all those booked with a chance to perform on a main stage, although there will be opportunities to perform at an open-mic concert, and of course everyone is welcome to join in the sessions. Applicants will be notified sometime in June whether we have been able to fit them into the program.

One of the best ways to have fun at the Festival is by being a volunteer. By volunteering, you will make new friends and obtain great satisfaction from ensuring everyone has an enjoyable and memorable time at the Festival. A good festival requires lots of volunteers and your skills and time will be highly valued. Volunteer applications for Fleurieu Folk Festival 2019 open in March.

The Festival attracts a wide range of patrons of all ages, including some from Interstate. We aim to attract stalls that will provide Festival patrons with an enticing selection of craft and merchandise and good food. We encourage Australian handcrafted and homemade specialist goods and stalls that are bright and festive with a clean appearance and of interest.

Judith Crossley Memorial Songwriter Award
The Judith Crossley Memorial Songwriter Award is a tribute to an amazing lady - Judith Crossley. This award has been made possible through a kind donation from Judith Crossley’s estate to remember Judith and her commitment to the South Australian Folk community by celebrating her life. Contestants must write a song about Adelaide or South Australia in the folk or blues traditional mode. Ten finalists are chosen to perform at a special Judith Crossley Award Concert where the winner is chosen. The winner receives a $1000 prize and a certificate that can be added to their CV.
