Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 2, 2026
Welcome to Flashlight Max (the "App," "we," "our," or "us").
Flashlight Max is a utility application that allows users to use the device's camera flash or screen as a light source. Depending on the version of the App and the features available on your device, the App may also offer brightness controls, flashing modes, or emergency signaling functions.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the App, how that information may be used and shared, and the choices available to you. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App.
1. Information We May Process
Depending on the features you use, your device settings, and the services available in your region, the App and its third-party service providers may process the following categories of information.
1.1 Camera and Flashlight Permission
Flashlight Max may request access to your device's camera or flashlight hardware solely to activate and control the camera flash for flashlight-related functions.
Camera or flashlight access may be used to:
• Turn the device's camera flash on or off;
• Adjust available flashlight settings;
• Provide flashing, strobe, or emergency signaling modes where offered.
The permission is used only when you intentionally activate a flashlight-related feature. Flashlight Max does not use camera access to take, record, store, upload, or transmit photos or videos. The App does not access the camera to identify you or analyze your surroundings.
You may deny or revoke camera permission through your device settings. If the permission is denied or revoked, camera-flash functionality may be unavailable, although screen-light features may continue to work where supported.
1.2 App Settings and Locally Stored Data
The App may store limited information locally on your device, such as:
• Brightness or screen-light preferences;
• Flashlight mode and interface settings;
• Consent choices and other App preferences.
This information is used to provide and remember the settings you select. Locally stored settings are generally removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App, subject to your device's backup and restore behavior.
1.3 Device Information and Advertising Identifiers
For advertising, analytics, attribution, fraud prevention, diagnostics, security, and service optimization, the App and its third-party service providers may process technical information and identifiers such as:
• Google Advertising ID (GAID) or a similar advertising identifier;
• Android Device ID or other device-provided identifiers, where permitted;
• Firebase Installation ID or application instance identifiers;
• Device manufacturer and model;
• Operating system and App version;
• Language, time zone, screen size, and device configuration;
• Network type, carrier information, and IP address;
• Advertising interaction, attribution, and campaign-performance data.
You may be able to reset or limit the use of your advertising identifier through your device settings. Availability of these controls depends on your device and operating system.
1.4 Approximate Location Information
The App and certain third-party service providers may derive a general or approximate location from information such as your IP address, network connection, device language, time zone, or regional settings.
Approximate location may be used to deliver regionally relevant advertisements, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud, perform analytics, improve services, and comply with legal or platform requirements.
Flashlight Max does not continuously collect precise GPS location information and does not request precise location solely to provide flashlight functionality.
1.5 Usage, Analytics, Crash, and Diagnostic Data
To understand App performance, maintain stability, and improve the user experience, the App and its service providers may process:
• App feature interactions and usage events;
• Session duration and screen-view information;
• Crash logs, error reports, and performance metrics;
• Network status and technical diagnostic information;
• Installation source and advertising attribution information.
This information may be associated with an App instance, device identifier, or advertising identifier, depending on the provider, your settings, consent choices, and applicable law.
2. How We Use Information
We may use the information described above to:
• Provide and maintain flashlight, screen-light, brightness-control, flashing, and emergency signaling functions available in the App;
• Remember App settings and preferences;
• Display and measure advertisements;
• Perform advertising attribution and campaign analysis;
• Analyze App usage and improve functionality, usability, stability, and performance;
• Diagnose crashes and technical problems;
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and invalid advertising activity;
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce applicable terms, and meet app-store or platform requirements.
3. Advertising
Flashlight Max may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners. These partners may collect or receive advertising identifiers, device and network information, approximate location, App interaction data, and advertisement-view or click data in order to:
• Select, deliver, and measure advertisements;
• Provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements, depending on your consent, settings, and applicable law;
• Limit how often an advertisement is shown;
• Measure campaign performance and attribution;
• Detect invalid traffic, fraud, and abuse.
Where required by law, the App may ask for your consent before using information for personalized advertising. You may change available consent choices in the App or through your device settings.
We do not use photos, videos, or camera content for advertising, and the App does not capture such content through its flashlight functionality.
4. Third-Party Services and SDKs
Flashlight Max may integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs) or services that provide advertising, analytics, attribution, crash reporting, diagnostics, consent management, security, and fraud-prevention functions. Depending on the version of the App and your region, these providers may include services offered by Google, Firebase, Meta, Liftoff (Vungle), and Pangle.
These providers may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device and network information, App usage information, advertising interaction data, crash reports, and diagnostics under their own privacy policies and applicable legal terms.
Their privacy practices are governed by their respective policies:

We do not sell personal information in exchange for monetary compensation. Third-party advertising and analytics providers may process information as described above for their own permitted purposes. Their practices and your rights may vary depending on your location.
5. How Information May Be Shared
We may share information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:
• With advertising, analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, diagnostics, security, consent-management, and fraud-prevention providers;
• To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
• To protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of users, the App, our services, or the public;
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
We do not share photos, videos, or camera content because Flashlight Max does not capture or store that content through its flashlight functionality.
6. Data Retention
Locally stored App settings remain on your device until you change or delete them, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App, subject to your device's backup and restore behavior.
Information processed by us or our service providers is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the App, perform analytics and diagnostics, measure advertising, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary according to the type of information and the provider involved.
Uninstalling the App generally removes locally stored App data, but it may not remove device backups or information lawfully retained by third-party providers until the applicable retention period expires.
7. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
• Request access to personal information relating to you;
• Request correction or deletion of personal information;
• Restrict or object to certain processing activities;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• Opt out of certain personalized advertising or data-sharing practices;
• Lodge a complaint with an appropriate data-protection authority.
You can also manage privacy choices by:
• Granting, denying, or revoking camera permission through your device settings;
• Resetting or deleting your advertising identifier where supported;
• Limiting personalized advertising through your device settings;
• Managing consent choices presented within the App;
• Clearing locally stored App data;
• Uninstalling the App.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at support@bytrabbit.com. We may need to verify your request before responding. Because some information may be held only by a third-party provider or stored only on your device, our ability to access or delete it may be limited.
8. Children's Privacy
Flashlight Max is not directed to children under the age of 13, or to a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age without appropriate authorization.
If we learn that such information has been collected without legally valid consent or authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at support@bytrabbit.com.
9. International Data Transfers
The App's third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you reside. Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers in accordance with applicable law.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, encryption where appropriate, security monitoring, and least-privilege practices.
No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Permission Disclosure
Camera / Flashlight
Purpose:
• To activate and control the device's camera flash;
• To provide flashlight-related modes initiated by the user.
Our commitment:
• Camera or flashlight access is used only for flashlight-related functionality;
• The App does not take, record, store, upload, or transmit photos or videos;
• The App does not activate the camera flash without a user-initiated feature, except where an operating-system feature explicitly authorized by the user permits continued flashlight operation;
• Camera content is not used for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
Before requesting a sensitive permission, Flashlight Max may display a prominent in-App disclosure explaining what permission is requested, why it is needed, and how it will be used.
12. Safe Use
Flashing or strobe lights may cause discomfort or adverse reactions in some individuals, including people with photosensitive conditions. Use flashing modes carefully and avoid directing bright light into anyone's eyes. Flashlight Max is a general utility and should not be relied upon as a replacement for certified emergency or safety equipment.
13. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in Flashlight Max are owned by the App publisher and its licensors, except for third-party materials governed by their respective terms.
If you believe that content or functionality made available through the App infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at support@bytrabbit.com.
14. App Use and Uninstallation
You may stop using Flashlight Max and uninstall it at any time through your device's normal procedures. You may also revoke camera permission through device settings. Revoking the permission may prevent camera-flash functionality from working.
Uninstalling the App generally removes data stored in the App's private local storage. Device backups or information retained by third-party service providers may remain until separately deleted or until the applicable retention period expires.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, technology, legal requirements, or our data practices. The revised policy will be made available within the App or on the applicable policy page and will identify the updated effective date.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after an update becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
