App: Flashlight, Compass & Level
This Privacy Policy explains what information is (and isn’t) collected when you use Flashlight, Compass & Level, how it may be used, and your choices. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
We do not collect or store personal information on our own servers.
The app does not require an account and does not upload your content.
However, we use third-party advertising technology (Google Mobile Ads / AdMob). Those services may collect certain information automatically to show and measure ads. Examples include:
Advertising ID (AAID), approximate location inferred from IP, device information (model, OS), app interactions with ads, and performance metrics.
For users in the EEA/UK, we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent for personalized ads. If consent is not granted, only non-personalized ads (NPA) are shown.
For details about what the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect, see:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

We do not use analytics services in this app.
Camera — used only to turn the flashlight (torch) on/off. No photos or videos are captured.
Sensors (accelerometer, magnetometer) — used to provide the Level and Compass functionality locally on your device. Sensor data is not stored or uploaded by us.
We do not request access to your contacts, files, microphone, or precise location.
To display ads and keep the app free (via Google AdMob).
To comply with legal obligations and platform policies (e.g., consent in EEA/UK).
We do not sell or share your personal data.
Consent (EEA/UK): On first launch, you can choose whether to allow personalized ads. You can change your choice later by clearing the app’s data or device advertising settings.
Non-personalized ads: If you do not give consent, the app will show non-personalized ads (contextual).
Advertising ID controls (Android):
Settings → Google → Ads → Reset or Delete advertising ID
You can also toggle Opt out of Ads Personalization (on older Android versions).
This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We do not maintain our own databases for user data. Any data processed by ad providers is handled under their policies and retention schedules. We use industry-standard measures to keep the app code secure and up to date.
For users in regions with privacy laws (e.g., GDPR in EEA/UK), our lawful bases for ad processing are consent (for personalized ads) or legitimate interests (for non-personalized, contextual advertising and basic app operations).

We don’t run our own servers or collect personal data ourselves.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect device/advertising identifiers to show and measure ads.
In EEA/UK we ask for consent via UMP; without consent we show non-personalized ads.
Camera is used only for the flashlight; sensors are used locally for compass/level.
Tip for Play Console “Data safety” (informational, not legal advice):
Collected: “Device or other IDs”; possibly “Approximate location” (inferred by network) depending on Google’s SDK behavior.
Purpose: “Advertising or marketing” (and “Analytics” if you enable it later).
Shared: Typically “No” (you don’t share; the SDK collects under its own policy).
Adjust answers to match any future changes you make.
