Global node Network

Seed Nodes are permanent nodes that remain on 24/7 and are hard-coded into the wallet. Most projects have 1 or 2, and on rare occasions, you will find a good one that has 4. Flapxcoin has 10. Every Flapx permanent node is hosted at a different data center. The network has been built for speed, stability and redundancy. The target transaction time for Flapx is six minutes. However, wallet to wallet transactions show near instantly. Once received, it typically takes four to eight minutes for a wallet to wallet transaction to completely confirmed.


Many users have experienced wallets that do not establish connections to the network. That is an indication that the seed node is down, or worse, corrupted. A network without proper seed nodes has a higher risk of forking. To address connectivity issues, users find alternative solutions. For example, some users copy nodes from the network, and manually input addnode=0.0.0.0 in there config file when unable to connect. Addnodes left in your config file also put you at greater risk of forking your wallet. The strong seednodes of Flapxcoin avoids these issues and risks, as the Flapx network standards are higher than most.

All the flapx seednodes are hard-coded to communicate with each other. This insures that when you turn on your wallet, there are 10 complete and consensing sources of the chain available to your wallet upon startup. Seednodes also act as a rolodex of peer IPs. The nodes share the IPs with each other and with your wallet. This information is stored in a wallet directory called peers.dat. Your wallet is programmed to save all current connections every fifteen minutes for reconnection later.

We are looking to establish additional nodes in: SOUTH and or CENTRAL AMERICA, SOUTH AFRICA, RUSSIA, AUSTRALIA, FAR NORTH AMERICA & JAPAN Our objective is to have nodes available in these additional areas by Build 2.0 scheduled for January, 2019
