The rainbow Pride flag is also a powerful symbol of allyship flown by family members, best friends, employers, and businesses who support the LGBTQ+ community (allies). The mere display of the Pride flag on a sticker at the entrance of business messages to all that this is a welcoming place. In many communities throughout the United States, businesses are partnering with law enforcement agencies to create "Safe Places" and use the colors of the rainbow Pride flag to designate safe harbors for LGBTQ+ people should they face a threat or attack.
