The rainbow Pride flag was created by Gilbert Baker and revealed to the world for the first time on June 25, 1978 at UN Plaza in San Francisco. The Pride flag is a symbol of the LGBTQ+ community that continues to grow in power. It is used to celebrate pride in who we are as individuals and as a community. This flag is the central symbol of every pride celebration in the world.
