This Privacy Policy describes how the "5G LTE Only, Speed Test" mobile application ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our application.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
To perform speed tests and display accurate network diagnostics, the App accesses:
Phone/Network State (READ_PHONE_STATE): Used to identify your network type, carrier/operator information, and connection details (e.g., whether you are connected via 5G, LTE, or other network types), so the App can display accurate test results relevant to your current connection.
Network Connectivity Status (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used to detect whether you are connected to the internet and the type of active connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) before and during a speed test.
Internet Access (INTERNET): Used to perform upload/download speed tests and ping/latency measurements by communicating with test servers.
Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): With your explicit permission (granted manually through system Settings), the App accesses usage statistics to show you an overview of your overall mobile and Wi-Fi data consumption. This data is processed on your device to generate the data usage summaries shown within the App. We do not use this permission to monitor which specific third-party apps you open or use individually beyond what is necessary to calculate aggregate data consumption figures displayed to you.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service. AdMob may collect and process:
Advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID)
Device information (device model, operating system version)
IP address and approximate location (derived from IP)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy and Google's Partner Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization, or equivalent).
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise GPS location, photos, or messages. We do not access call logs, SMS, or the content of your phone calls.
We use the information collected to:
Perform and display network speed test results (download speed, upload speed, ping, jitter)
Identify and display your current network type and carrier information
Show you a summary of your device's overall data usage
Serve advertisements through AdMob to support free use of the App
Improve app performance and diagnose technical issues
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited technical data only with:
Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements (see Section 1c)
Speed test servers — your device connects to network testing servers solely to measure connection speed; these servers may log your IP address as part of standard network communication
We do not share your data with data brokers or for purposes unrelated to the App's core functionality.
Network test results and data usage summaries are processed and displayed locally on your device. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any data transmitted by the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
You can revoke the Usage Access permission at any time via Settings > Apps > Special app access > Usage access.
You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's Google Ads settings.
You can uninstall the App at any time to stop all data collection.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
