The plot of the game assumes Michael Afton as the protagonist under the alias of Mike Schmidt. He takes up a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, where he is tasked with scanning for paranormal activity before each shift. As the nights go by, the animatronics become increasingly hostile until Night 4, when The Puppet seizes Michael and exposes that the spirit of the Bite Victim, who is haunting The Puppet, is the reason behind the sinister occurrences.

This iteration significantly expanded the gameplay experience by fully fleshing out Chica's Pizza mechanic, signifying the need to accept her needs whenever she is located standing in the right door corridor. FNAF Plus Restored is a remake of the adored game Five Nights at Freddy's Plus, which unfortunately got cancelled in 2023. In this revision, players follow the story of Mike Schmidt as he accepts a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. Mike's main duties include investigating mysterious paranormal occurrences and safeguarding the establishment during the night shift. However, throughout the course of five nights, the animatronic characters, Freddy and his pals, make relentless attempts to infiltrate the security office where the player is stationed.

Michael Afton, using the alias Mike Schmidt, accepts a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. Assigned to investigate paranormal activity, he soon discovers that the animatronics are possessed by vengeful souls. These spirits relentlessly try to reach him and his office. The Puppet reveals itself to be Mike's missing brother and asks for help in setting the children's souls free by burning down the pizzeria. This dramatic turn of events adds an intense and emotional climax to the game's storyline.

It wasn't until a controversy surrounding Phisnom emerged that LostPawPlay took matters into his own hands and created his own fangame, releasing the fifth version of FNAF Plus. This version was praised by fans for its adherence to graphics similar to the original game and ultimately providing them with a playable experience. Ultimately, the final version of FNAF Plus, V6, proved to be the best iteration compared to its previous five versions.
