Xiao Wu

Associate Professor 

I received my Ph.D. in Engineering from Kyushu University in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, I was a researcher at Kyushu University. In 2020, I joined Fukuoka Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2025.

My research interests include biomimetic taste sensors, electronic noses, chemical sensing technologies, multimodal sensor fusion, and AI-based food flavor evaluation. I am also interested in developing intelligent artificial sensory systems that enable robots to perceive and recognize tastes and odors.
