Fishy Alert AI helps you spot risky pages before you get burned. It analyzes the page you’re on and shows a clear suspicion score in your toolbar, plus a simple “why this was flagged” breakdown. HTTP pages trigger a warning so you know when a connection isn’t encrypted.
Key features
Suspicion score in the toolbar badge
“Why was I flagged?” reasons (e.g., HTTP, password fields, urgent phrases)
Optional alert popup for unencrypted HTTP pages
Dark mode and adjustable alert threshold
“False Report” list so you can mark safe sites
Lightweight: no ads, no accounts, no tracking
How it works
Local-only heuristics check for common red flags:
Unencrypted HTTP connections
Password/login forms
Urgent or phishing-like keywords
Everything runs in your browser—no external servers needed.
Permissions (why we ask)
content_scripts / <all_urls> – read page signals to compute the score
tabs – read the active tab’s URL to show the score in the popup/badge
storage – save your settings and false reports locally
notifications & windows – show the HTTP warning popup/notification
Privacy
This extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. All analysis happens on your device, and settings/false reports are stored only in local browser storage. No analytics.
