GENERAL DATA COLLECTION

• Collect a list of 160 ORCID's by hand

• Call the OpenAlex API for the publications of these authors

• Remove the  authors that are not in the list and those authors that temporally have a non-Spanish affiliation

• Construct networks of collaboration year by year

NETWORK CONSTRUCTION

• Once the years window has been chosen, links between authors are constructed

• Weights correspond to the number of years authors have collaborated within the prescribed time window

• Communities are identified using Louvain method

• The 3 most used keywords in the set of publications of the community of authors are assigned to the community

• As an alternative, the network of institutions can be also constructed (in this case there are no keywords)

• Choose between sliding or not-sliding time windows

• Groups can be communities or connected components
