FirstBend Privacy Policy
Press Brake Setup Memory

Summary: FirstBend is a local-first industrial utility. All your press brake setup records stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.
1. Data Stored on Device
FirstBend stores shop setup records, part information, measurements, tooling notes, and tooling setup photos locally on your device in private application storage. None of this operational data is uploaded automatically to any server.
2. No FirstBend Account Required
FirstBend does not require you to register, log in, or create an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
3. No Automatic Cloud Upload
FirstBend does not operate proprietary backend cloud servers or database synchronization services. Your press brake records remain strictly inside the local SQLite database and sandbox directories of your device.
4. User-Initiated Sharing and Backups
Shop documentation leaves your device only when you initiate an export action:
• PDF Setup Sheets: Generated on-device and shared via your operating system's native share sheet (AirDrop, printing, messaging, or file transfer).
• Local Backups: Packaged as a local ZIP file on your device and shared only through your system's share sheet or file manager.
5. In-App Purchases and Payment Information
All in-app purchases (FirstBend Pro Lifetime) are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under their respective terms and privacy policies. FirstBend never collects, processes, or stores your credit card details, billing address, or store financial credentials.
6. Camera and Photo Library Permissions
FirstBend requests access to your device's Camera and Photo Library solely for the purpose of allowing you to photograph or select physical tooling and clamp setups to attach to a setup run. Photos are stored locally in the application sandbox and are never transmitted to third parties.
7. Analytics and Tracking
FirstBend does not incorporate third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral tracking trackers, or cross-app analytics services.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL and updated within the app's About section.
