Firman Witoelar Kartaadipoetra

I am an Associate Professor with the Indonesia Project, Arndt-Corden Department of Economics, Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University.  I am also  a research fellow at the ANU Policy Experiments Lab, an affiliated professor at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a faculty affiliate at the CPC Learning Network, Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University.

My research  is in the broad area of empirical development economics,  population economics,  health economics, survey design and methodology, and policy evaluation. 

Since 2000, I have been involved with the development and implementation of the Indonesia Family Life Surveys, and was  one of the Co-Principal Investigators of IFLS4 (2007) and IFLS5 (2014).
