Most other retailers price in single rolls but sell in double rolls. This leads the customer to think that the price is lower than it actually is. We finally found a good spot, five minutes after the fireworks had started. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite underwhelming. I did not want all this walk in the rain to go to waste so I pulled out my camera.

I particulary love the glow between the fireworks. This results in an organic feel that would be hard to get on a computer. Despite being visually simple, there is an organic depth that adds just the right amount of complexity to balance the picture.

To get the detail in the fireworks, I use a white gel pen. I have several in different line widths and these help to get different effects. I go over the coloured lines and add some dots for the fall outs after the firework explodes.

The Scottish Government (SG) has recently completed a public consultation on fireworks to gather information and views on the use and regulations of fireworks in Scotland. The consultation ran from 3 February 2019 to 13 May 2019 and received over 16,500 responses.
