Mr. Finnegan
Learn. Work. Grow.
Learn. Work. Grow.
I was born and raised in Sonoma County where I attended Analy High School, Santa Rosa Junior College. I earned a BA from Sonoma State University, and attended the North Coast School of Education where I earned my teaching credential. I spent over 10 years teaching and practicing at Phas3 Martial Arts where I specialized in Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Something I learned early on is that the best teachers are also the best students, which is why I seize new opportunities to learn and grow.
My passion for education comes from the simple truth that our greatest achievements in life can be attributed back to a teacher, parent, or coach who believed in us and pushed us beyond our limits. I hope to bring this spirit into the classroom. I value hard work, resilience, and a good attitude. I live in Rohnert Park with my two daughters. If I am not playing with my family you will find me tinkering away in my workshop, tending my garden or brewing my next craft beer.
I am excited to be apart of the POCS team and I look forward to making this a great year for learning!
Remember students, in the classroom, curiosity is key!
