By default, the images in Fingerprint Wallpaper Lock are set as a wallpaper for both your home screen and lock screen. Sadly, this is a huge disappointment for users who want to use a different image for the former and the latter.

When you install the "Dell Data Protection Access" software for Finger Print authentication, it customises the lock screen and adds an ugly Dell logo (it ignores the user's current picture). How do I change the logo to the user's picture or customise the screen?

Since your Galaxy phone holds all your important information, make sure to protect it and keep things private. A great way to increase the security on your phone is by setting up a screen lock. You can use a few different screen lock types, such as fingerprint identification, face recognition, pattern, or password. This way, no one else will be able to access your device.

Once you've set up a biometric security feature, make sure that you have it set on your Lock screen. For example, you need to have Fingerprint unlock activated if you want to unlock your phone with your fingerprints. To do so, just tap your desired biometric feature, and make sure the appropriate switch (i.e. Fingerprint unlock, Face unlock) is turned on.

For extra protection, you can set up secure lock settings, such as an automatic screen lock when your Galaxy phone is idle. However, these settings won't show up until after you've already made a Lock screen.

From Settings, tap Lock screen, and then tap Secure lock settings. Enter your current lock screen credentials. Then, turn your desired Secure lock settings on or off by tapping the switch.

To set up Extend Unlock, navigate to and open Settings, then tap Lock screen, and then tap Extend unlock. From here, enter your lock screen credentials. The following options are available:

- set the screen mode to natural, 120 Hz and WQHD

- Keep the default animated lock screen wallpaper.

- set up a fingerprint.

- lock and try unlocking the phone using a fingerprint.

- same screen issue shows up on the lock screen at the exact same location reported in the Reddit thread.

So earlier today I did a one tap on the lock screen and I would see a faint fingerprint reader that was cool. A double tap or phone vertical raise, shows the brighter fingerprint reader. So now, the single tap on the lock screen doesn't activate that faint finger print reader for some reason. Not sure why not.

Ok, so i solved this. It has nothing to do with adaptive brightness or auto brightness. THat wasnt the problem here. This is actually a setting under the Biometrics, then fingerprints, then Show icon when screen is off. You tap screen once and you see that faint fingerprint reader/icon. Somehow i toggled that back to off when i was setting up another fingerprint. It is back on and that faint fingerprint icon is back now after the single tap! SOLVED!

Thanks, but it isnt set on auto-brightness. I just tried changing to that and it didnt create that one tap faint fingerprint reader either. Does anyone have any other explanations for why this went away? I kinda like the one tap activation of that faint fingerprint onscreen.

Yes, you got it. Single tap keeps u in lock screen and you get that lighter icon... even with the full brightness setting for lockscreen always on display. Double tap or vertical lift, takes you to the wallpaper screen and you get the well-visible icon...that is brighter. Have a good one.

My nothing phone 2 is going well but I have some suggestions.it Need some more features like fingerprint animation customisation. Power option lock and disabling notification panel in lockscreen which I used to have in my previous phone so please do consider adding this in the next is update

Fingerprint Lock Screen Prank is a fun app that gives you a creative way of locking and securing your device. With this app, you can select the best screen lock that would suit your tastes and to make things better, it comes along with a variety of screen backgrounds and wallpapers. From patterns, to codes, and passwords, you can rest assured that your device is safe from other people.

While this app offers lots of ways to lock your phone, Fingerprint Lock Screen Prank does not really make your device capable of fingerprint scanning. Just as its name suggests, the app is meant for pranking and misleading other people that your device can only be accessed by scanning your registered fingerprint. There is nothing to worry about though because despite being merely a fingerprinting simulator, it features a bunch of other device lock screen options such as pins, passwords, and patterns, which are all customizable. These other lock options act like secondary security measures that back up your fingerprint simulator to give others the impression that your device is under strict and really complex security protocol. They can throw off and discourage any potential threats from people who would like to invade your privacy.

Fingerprint Lock Screen Prank is more than just a security tool. It also makes your phone look extra fabulous with its available wallpapers and screensavers. Users can you to add a firefly effect no matter which background you choose. Adding fireflies will give your screen that much-needed glow and ethereal look. That is to say that there are also backgrounds that are already animated and some even come with their own sounds and music! As mentioned, your overall lock screen is customizable so feel free to choose which lock would best work for you and which background image goes best with it. Font style can be changed too so you can adjust it to a font that you can easily read.

Fingerprint Lock Screen Prank is a nice and convenient combination of wallpapers and security locks. All of the background images are in a high-quality definition that will surely be a perfect fit for your device screen. You also do not have to worry about missing important messages and calls because your notification alerts will still be displayed even when the app is in use.

The app will ask about your internet connection type, device brand, device color, and if it has a fingerprint scanner. Only the color will be asked again every time you open the app. The main menu is pretty bland as it only features a customizable theme and five buttons with outdated-looking icons. How To Use displays your settings and instructions on how to set up scan cycles for the app. Lock Screen contains the lock screen option setting, which is a measly checkbox for enabling it.

Screen capture (work profile-level): Block prevents screenshots or screen captures on the device. It also prevents the content from being shown on display devices that don't have a secure video output. When set to Not configured (default), Intune doesn't change or update this setting. By default, the OS might let users capture the screen contents as an image.

Lock home screen: Enable prevents users from moving app icons and folders. They're locked, and can't be dragged-and-dropped to different places on the grid. When set to Not configured, Intune doesn't change or update this setting. By default, users can move these items.

Screen saver mode: Enable shows a screensaver on the Managed Home Screen when the device is locked or times out. When set to Not configured (default), Intune doesn't change or update this setting. By default, the OS might not show a screensaver on the Managed Home Screen.

When set to Not configured (default), Intune doesn't change or update this setting. By default, the device keeps its current wallpaper.

To apply the device password settings during device enrollment, assign the device restriction profile to users, not devices. During enrollment, users are asked to set a screen lock. Then, they must choose a device password that meets all the requirements in this device restriction profile.

Disabled lock screen features: When the device is locked, choose the features that can't be used. For example, when Secure camera is checked, the camera feature is disabled on the device. Any features not checked are enabled on the device.

Required unlock frequency: Strong authentication is when users unlock a device using a password, PIN, or pattern. Non-strong authentication methods are when users unlock a device using some biometric options, such as a fingerprint or face scan.

Required unlock frequency: Strong authentication is when users unlock the work profile using a password, PIN, or pattern. Non-strong authentication methods are when users unlock the work profile using some biometric options, such as a fingerprint or face scan.

All, except when specified: Enter the text you want shown for all languages, a max of 4096 characters. This text is automatically translated to the device's default language. If you don't enter a custom message, then Intune doesn't change or update this setting. By default, the OS might not show a lock screen message. 2351a5e196
