I am thrilled to have joined the Department of Computer Science at Mercer University as a Tenure-track Assistant Professor. My extensive industry background in systems and network administration, complemented by my research contributions to the field of cybersecurity, has positioned me as a recognized authority in my specialized domain.
I am enthusiastic about engaging with students and nurturing their educational and professional growth. One of my initiatives is to launch a comprehensive cyber awareness campaign, "Everyone can learn to be safe on the internet!" collaborating closely with active student groups, spreading cyber awareness at Mercer and the community around us.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) under the supervision of Dr. Deepak Tosh (Ph.D. Dissertation). I received my masters in Software Engineering from UTEP. My research interests lie in Cyber Situational Awareness, Risk Modeling and Analytics, Machine Learning, and Distributed Systems. If you are interested, I am open to discussing and hearing about your ideas and proposals.
