Introduction

FinCalc ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the FinCalc mobile application (the "App").

The short version: We do not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. All your financial calculations and spending records stay on your device — we never see them.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

FinCalc is designed to work entirely offline. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, or phone number

• Your location or device identifiers

• Your financial data, spending entries, or budget information

• Your loan calculations, price comparisons, or currency conversions

• Any other personal or financial information you enter into the App

All data you enter into FinCalc is stored locally on your device using secure, encrypted storage. We do not have servers that receive, process, or store your data.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

FinCalc stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Spending entries (amount, category, description, date) — used solely for your personal tracking and analytics

• Credit balance — the virtual credits you earn or purchase within the App

• Budget settings — your monthly budget limits and preferences

• Daily check-in status — to track your daily login reward

This data is stored using Android Keystore / iOS Keychain (encrypted system-level storage) and remains on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App's storage in your device settings.

3. In-App Purchases

FinCalc offers optional in-app purchases (virtual credits) processed through RevenueCat and the official app store billing systems (Google Play Billing / Apple App Store).

When you make a purchase:

• RevenueCat processes the transaction and handles subscription/entitlement management

• RevenueCat may collect transaction data as described in their own privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

• We do not receive or store your payment card details (these are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store)

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services for optional features:

When you use the currency converter with live rates enabled, the App sends a request to a public exchange rate API. This request contains no personal information — only the base currency code (e.g., "USD").

5. Internet Connectivity

FinCalc works fully offline by default. All core features (calculators, spending tracker, analytics, budget) function without any internet connection.

Internet is only used when you:

• Choose to fetch live currency exchange rates in the Converter

• Make an in-app purchase

6. Children's Privacy

FinCalc does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not collect any personal information from any user, regardless of age.

7. Data Security

We take security seriously:

• All locally stored data is encrypted using platform-standard secure storage

• The App does not transmit your financial data over any network

• No account or login is required — there are no credentials to compromise

8. Your Rights and Choices

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• View your data at any time within the App

• Delete individual spending entries, budgets, or calculations

• Clear all data by uninstalling the App or clearing App storage in device settings

• Export your spending data to Excel or PDF files saved to your device

We cannot access, modify, or delete your data because we never have it in the first place.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App and on the App's store listing page. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
