Finance Flow ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when using Finance Flow on Android.

1. Data Ownership & Offline-First Architecture

Finance Flow is designed with a strict offline-first architecture. Your financial transactions, accounts, debts, budgets, savings goals, and notes reside solely on your local device.

We do not store your financial records on external servers, nor do we track or sell your personal financial profile to third parties.

2. Data Encryption & Security

Your financial records are stored using industry-standard AES-256 local database encryption. Access to the app can be further locked using device biometric authentication (Fingerprint or Face Unlock) and PIN protection.

3. Financial AI Assistant

Our integrated AI financial assistant runs queries on-device or via secure, encrypted endpoints using tokenized, ephemeral sessions. Your queries and financial summaries are never used for AI model training or advertising profiling.

4. Data Portability & Backups

You have full ownership of your data at all times. You can:

• Export your entire transaction ledger to CSV files.

• Create AES-256 encrypted backup files stored securely on your local storage or your personal cloud drive.

• Permanently delete all app data and records from within the app settings at any time.

5. Device Permissions

• Camera (Optional): Used strictly if you choose to scan physical receipts for OCR expense logging. Images are processed directly and not stored externally.

• Notifications (Optional): Used to send bill payment reminders and budget alert notifications.

• Biometrics (Optional): Used locally to unlock the app if you enable App Lock.
