Filmora 12, I have two projects each have been saved as .WFP files and I'd like to either merge these two into one file or make one into a "picture in picture"...is this even possible with completed WFP files? I know it's pretty straightforward with regular mp4 files.

UPDATE: I have managed to make this work exactly ONCE by saving one file as a template and then importing it into another file. It does however seem to be pretty "hit and miss" unless of course, I'm doing something drastically wrong.

Hello, looking into getting Filmora as my first real video editing software. I am looking at getting a dual capsule microphone for vlog styler content (Deity D4 Duo) that allows capture of a front and rear capsule microphone onto a single stereo channel- front capsule on the left, rear capsule on the right.

What I have is some raw footage that I imported, about five hours' worth, separated into three chunks. I know how to make clips from those and put them on the timeline, but can I make clips and just put them into folders for organization first, *then* put them on the timeline? Most everything I found is just talking about how to move clips around on the timeline, which I know how to do anyway.

Also, am I the only one who doesn't like that every video clip now comes with audio pre-detached? Any way to undo this or "merge the tracks back into one by default? I'm about to call in and get refunded and drop back down to v12.

On Vegas, when you drag a video with multiple audio track to the timeline, it's correctly separated, each with its own layer - video and audio tracks. On filmora, it's just show the video and a single track...

I'm working on my first real project that's not just playing around with the software. I have a 9 minute clip that I need all of 20 seconds of footage from. The video plays just fine in mediaplayer, and also plays just fine when I'm previewing the clip in the media bank. The problem is when I move the clip down to the editing bar; it plays video for 12 seconds and then it's just black screen with audio for the rest of the clip. I've tried restarting, resetting the GPU preferences, and everything else that I can find online short of reinstalling the program because I have 7 hours work put into this video already and I don't want to risk losing the progress I've already made.

Edit: I eventually found a workaround for the problem, here's what I did. I did an experiment where I cut a 10 second section of the blank screen and exported it as an mp4 at full resolution. I then reloaded the experimental clip back into filmora and the video played fine just like it should. Next, as a new project I loaded in the problem footage and it had the same issue of blank screen after 12 seconds. I exported the whole footage as an mp4 and went back into my project (which I have now finished). I put the original footage in place where I needed it to be, I then overlaid the re-rendered exported footage in the video slot above it, syncing it up. I watched through the footage and made my splits where I needed them to be on both the original footage and re-rendered footage and moved the clips around as needed. When I was finished with that section of video, I then deleted the re-rendered clips, leaving only the original footage behind. When I finished the video and exported it as a completed project it used only the original footage so there was no loss in video quality. I don't know if this qualifies as 'Solved'.

Hello, after trying out the official release of Filmora 12, and after editing a whole video on it, i came to the last step, aka export it and it told me that i would've needed to pay it again (i already have the Filmora 11 lifetime subscription). When trying to downgrade back to filmora 11, every way i tried it would always reinstall Filmora 12, even when going back to the old Filmora 11 downloads.

But i have a major problem. I'm using pan & zoom on some images, and filmora doesnt make a smooth zoom, like the previous version. It trembles... Like someones tries to zoom on something and his hands are trembling...
