Elsa the Snow Queen has an extraordinary gift -- the power to create ice and snow. But no matter how happy she is to be surrounded by the people of Arendelle, Elsa finds herself strangely unsettled. After hearing a mysterious voice call out to her, Elsa travels to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond her kingdom -- an adventure that soon turns into a journey of self-discovery.

Once again Frozen proves to be queen of animated movies with an impressive musical score and extension to the original story-line.

Viewers will relate to the family-oriented aesthetics and realize the Romeo-Juliet-type clash between cities.

However, it's hard for animated movies to show obstacles as insurmountable and stressful, especially in a fantasy-land where everything seems to be solvable with magic. Characters are not stressed out because they're singing happy songs.

And it seems wrong to bring anti-imperialistic agendas into a children's movie (ie kings taking land from peaceful, magical, natives). Disney could not have been created in Manifest Destiny had not existed.

In addition it seems a little strange that Elsa leaves her kingdom to live in the woods. If queens were so willing to give up their throne, the queen of England would just give it up to her son.
